Baili Xia opened her eyes and glanced at Mu Xiaoyao.
Although his voice could provide her some reassurance, the fear in her eyes didn't fade in the slightest.
Mu Xiaoyao felt a bit helpless—he really hadn't seen anyone as scared of flying as this little girl.
Then again, he didn't often have the chance to take flights with her either.
He adjusted his seat so that the two seats were next to each other.
Mu Xiaoyao reached out with his right arm, pulling Baili Xia directly into his embrace.
His left hand gently lifted, patting her back softly.
"We'll be there soon. Don't be scared."
Leaning into Mu Xiaoyao's chest and listening to his comforting words, Baili Xia finally started to relax a little.
She was just about to nod in response when Mu Xiaoyao's soft voice came again.
"It's fine. Even if the plane crashes, we can parachute out."
Baili Xia almost fainted on the spot!
This was supposed to be comforting? What does he mean by "even if the plane crashes"?
