When Quinlan opened his eyes, what welcomed him was a mystical space. Around him was nothing but darkness, with the aurora-like lights far into the horizon, glowing in green and blue.
"This place is..."
As he looked around, he discovered that he was standing on a floating piece of circular island with broken debris floating nearby. All but one direction was blocked, leaving only a path straight to what looked like an endless staircase painted the same color as the surroundings.
"This is the fifth floor?" Quinlan muttered in wonder.
Just as he took a step forward, a floating window appeared before him, giving him more information.
