"Sooooo what's exactly happening with you?"
Hou Tengqi and Meng Rin's engagement ceremony was hardly a few days away and Mingshen, curious as he was, wanted to know Bai Yingtai's story. He knew the sleepyhead liked Meng Rin and as his Boss, he was actually looking forward to going head to head with Hou Tengqi once the latter would learn about another man's feelings for his soon to be wife.
Sadly, that day never came. Since Mingshen's entertainment was at stake here, he finally came to meet him today.
"Wasn't she your patient?"
Bai Yingtai, hugging his body-sized teddy bear, had his back to him. It looked like he was in lala land but Mingshen knew he wasn't. Not if he truly loved Meng Rin. Not if he had the stomach to watch her get engaged to an abusive man like Hou Tengqi.
Mingshen smiled. "Start talking before I start some loud music here. I swear I will tear off your ear drums."
