Despite the lingering thoughts circling my head, the remainder of our time eating goes fairly smoothly. We chat casually with each other as we eat. By the time we finish, there's sill a decent amount of time left before the intermission is finished.
I suppose it shows just how quickly May ate.
Us being so early to return does mean we can pick an even more advantageous seat, though. So. It works out.
Returning to the theater, May leads us to our seats, picking them based on whatever criteria she judges is important to her. They're hardly the best seats that could be snatched up right now, but what she enjoys sitting in is more important than that, I suppose.
They're not terrible seats, after all, and they are closer than the ones before.
