May bounces excitedly on her feet as she tugs on my hand. "Come on! Come on come on come on come on come on!"
I chuckle at her enthusiasm. "Alright, alright." I say, letting her drag me along. "What is it?"
"It's a surprise!" She giggles, pulling me forward. "Come on!"
Well.
One thing I can say for certain is that she's excited and I need to 'come on'.
Can't miss that much, at least.
The real question is...
Why is there a crowd at the door of the tavern?
There's a small crowd at the door, including Katheryne and Lucas, but also a number of people who are clearly from outside the tavern. Some of them look familiar, others don't, and they all seem to have gathered together in the last few minutes, if not seconds.
I can't help but feel a little suspicious.
"What's going on?" I ask. "Is everything okay?"
May grins at me. "It's a surprise!"
