In the morning,
I woke up to the sounds of birds singing, opening my eyes l saw her still sleeping like a baby. I got up and went over near her to check her temperature if it had subsided for a while and as a miracle it did decrease and right now she was very okay.
My hand was beneath her neck,until some scars caught my eye l wondered what had possibly happened to her to be in this state.
Suddenly her eyes opened slowly rocking to mine,and like that it was like a witch just casted a spell on me. Her green hazel eyes took my breath. They looked so innocent yet somehow mysterious like she was a book with many papers to unfold.
We kept on looking to each other's eyes until she caughed and it broke the killing silence between us.
"Water ..."she said in whisper voice like deep in her throat they were tearing it apart.
I immediately ran took a glass of water and poured it somewater and then rushed over to give it to her. When she took the glass she immediately gulped it down like she hadn't seen it in ages.
Giving me back the glass to take it away, l took it and then placed it on the near drawer. She looked around the whole place like she was studying where was she. And then back at me.
"Where am l ?"she asked in a soft tone because maybe she felt week.
"Uhm in my room, but are you feeling okay now?" I instead changed the subject.
She just stared at me but nodded only. She then pushed away the sheetings and pulled her feet so that she could stand up but to her avail she didn't have the strength and her hurt like crazy when l looked over them l gasped they were curved with bruises and they were very numb.
At this state right now,my heart started to ache because l needed to know which monster being would do this to someone like her.
"Ouch"she said. And then landed on the bed again.
I took her slowly and then made her lay there sweetly.
"Tell me what happened to you?"l asked now feeling so worried and it even took me by surprise. Was l really asking how she was.
"I don't know, l really don't remember anything. My mind is just blank and there is nothing in it even my name." She replied looking at me.
And what now they had even made her forget everything.
Suddenly there was a buzz on the drawer and it brought me back to reality,l turned and saw that it was my phone.
I grabbed it and saw that it was Kylie who was calling, l wondered what made her call me at this hour.
I headed on the other corner of the room so that l could answer it. While she stayed in bed looking as a little lamb she was.
After some time talking in the phone l turned and was hit by dumbstruck. She was crying l immediately ran over to her side and asked what was making her cry.
"My stomach is really hurting and grumbling like nuts...."she replied and a chuckle Left my lips. She was just hungry and then it hit me l didn't give her anything to eat and based on the state she was in she must be freaking hungry.
I called the service on the phone and then ordered many dishes they could offer. After that l returned my gaze to her little fragile body, she must had gone through a lot and that's why she is like this and inside my heart l felt like was determined to know...
After some minutes,
The food was served and then on the table and when she saw it she smiled and then because l was standing behind her she turned and then wrapped in her arms tightly making me.....
