Ryzel wasn't sure yet if the effects of the potions he has would have the same effect on Danta and his people, as they certainly aren't humans like them.
That's why he wanted to check Danta first or get his blood if possible. But even though there might be a difference in their characteristics, he was sure that the potions that he made would still have some effect.
He had already tested it on different kinds of animals and other creatures in the simulations, and also on some of the things that Layton caught for him, and the potions he had were still effective on those creatures.
Only the dosage would be different, so he was still confident that it would have some effect on Danta and the others, just with a different dosage.
He wanted to test the potion that he made; however, he could only test it on those who could volunteer and accept the possible result if it fails, so he could only tell Danta about it and he could decide whether to accept it or not.
