Upon hearing No. 8's words, the Shadow Assassins' Captain nodded. He glanced with a complex expression at the approaching Bipedal Lizard swarm and began to speak slowly.
"You go first. I just didn't expect this creature to be so weak. It's hard to stomach dying as a sacrifice for such a weakling."
No. 8 said nothing more, simply walking over to the demon spawn to deal with its corpse.
He raised his dagger, aimed for the black crystal on the demon spawn's forehead, and began to dig it out!
Then, No. 8's brow furrowed.
After the crystal was dug out, the Black Light upon it suddenly pulsed. Then, the crystal shrank at a visible rate, quickly transforming into a wisp of black smoke and slowly vanishing!
This doesn't match the information from the Academy...
