The Standing is an illusion body transformed by the Gecko Divine Skill magic, it doesn't possess independent intellect, although it seems no different from a living person, it's actually Shen Mo controlling it remotely. As the Standing sleeps and dreams, a part of Shen Mo's consciousness residing in the Standing also falls into a "slumber."
