Gu Mian raised his eyes to look outside. From his angle, he could only see a small, empty piece of the platform outside Carriage Four.
There were no passengers waiting outside, which was normal since it was past eleven-thirty at night. It wasn't strange that no one was waiting for the train.
However, when Gu Mian looked at the passenger area, he noticed something else: none of the passengers in the entire carriage seemed to intend to get off. Everyone was sitting quietly. He wondered if it was the same in the other carriages.
Angel Slaughter's voice soon followed, "On my side, in the direction directly facing Carriage Five, there's a person."
A passenger getting on?
Upon hearing this, Gu Mian, carrying his orange soda, headed for the passenger area and stopped at the carriage door.
Although no passengers were getting off, the carriage doors were still open.
Gu Mian stood at the doorway, looking in the direction of Carriage Five.
