Sha Chen readily admitted it.
The Queen of the West was taken aback. She seemingly hadn't expected Sha Chen to admit it so readily. After all, everyone knew this was precisely why she had come. As a result, the many arguments she had prepared were rendered unnecessary. For a moment, she didn't know how to react.
After a moment of silence, she finally said, "May I have a look at it?"
This request was not excessive.
But for Sha Chen, it felt somewhat excessive because no system option had been activated. This meant he couldn't obtain more choices.
Sha Chen hesitated for a moment. He decided to let the Queen of the West have a look, hoping she would then make a more demanding request and perhaps activate a new choice.
He opened his hand, and an ancient, palm-sized bronze bell appeared in his palm.
