Of course, their ability to move quickly through the complex tunnel structures wasn't because their sense of spatial awareness was particularly good, but purely because they could cheat.
There's a post on the forum dedicated to documenting the map of the first-phase tunnels near Shadow Valley. The Chosen Ashman of the Stonemason Association even added scale and comparison coordinates to it. With these, players just needed to rely on the coordinate hints from their Calculating Pearl and compare it with the forum map. After some calculations that even a junior high school student could manage, they could pinpoint their location accurately.
This even came with a 3D model version. By opening it with graphics software on a computer, one could even grasp the forward and backward directions in the 3D tunnel structure in real-time.
