On the road towards the inner Ghost Empire cities
Following the long road with the caravan of people he takes another look at the book he received back at the village.
"So are there sorcerers in this world?" he thought.
"Maybe they are replaced with martial artist."
Just as he was thinking that he heard a large explosion towards the front of the caravan.
"Hey Hey what's happening!" The merchant screamed to the guards in the front.
A group of mangled cursed spirits walked into the road and started running towards the caravan.
"Psst low tier spirits useless." Said the man with a large great sword on his shoulder. A royal guard of the powerful merchant Ozawa Tsuneo. He is named Sekiguchi.
He jumped into the air and initiated the fight with his Divine slash technique, Destroying half of the cursed spirits.
"So, a mid-tier cured spirit as well huh." he said out loud.
landing back on the group he sprinted at the Short Tier 2 spirit bus as he swung his large Iron great Sword other Spirits grabbed his weapon from behind and he gets punched in the chest.
Being pushed back he initiated the 2nd stage of the divine slash; A physical aura was being released from his body and slashed the T2 cursed spirit and the surrounding area.
The T2 cursed spirit was still crawling on the ground attempting to escape.
Suddenly the man named Sekiguchi stomped the spirit head leaving it dead.
Suddenly the entire group of people started clapping "Great job."
"Good job."
"Great work."
Toji was casually looking from the back of the line saying in his head.
"All he did was swing his sword around." Shrugging his shoulders
"Let's get moving." The merchant said as the caravan wooden wheels started moving again hours passed without a sound.
Moving down the Straight Road through the thick forest on both sides.
Suddenly the caravan stops again but this time no one spoke nor moved. even the great Sekiguchi.
A cursed spirit, no a monster walked out of the woods and towards the group of people with a slow walk.
suddenly whistling follows.
"Show me the way lord, where are you lord!" Said the Cured Spirit that's far beyond High tier.
Toji instantly reacted and turned his head towards the cursed spirit, but in the same second the spirit named Higa Kazuhiro looked back at him and appeared Infront of Toji within that same second.
"Who are you, why are you with the humans." said Higa Kazuhiro
Suddenly Toji started spitting up his inventory curse from his past life.
With the curse around his shoulders, Toji felt nostalgia.
"Woah little guy your still with me? How are you here with me." Toji thought.
Higa looked at the cursed spirit around the man shoulders and thought "He subjugated a cursed spirit how? "
Everyone was still, an instinct in their body told them not to move or they would die. Even the martial artist.
The air was still, Complete silence even the local wildlife was scared to move.
Higa opened his mouth and let out a noise, the Inventory curse did the exact same thing, and it seems like they were speaking to each other.
Seconds later
"I WILL KILL YOU." Higa said out loud as if the Inventory curse said something that went against everything he ever knew.
Toji was one step ahead getting into a battle state that left Higa stuck, and he hesitated to initiate. Comparable to the feeling he got from his father the king.
Toji eyes turned completely black, and he went on the attack punching the spirit back a few meters, throwing punches that the spirit couldn't react to.
Punching the cursed spirit almost a mile away from the caravan, the cursed spirit was being completely pushed back.
Higa suddenly Jumped into the air and initiated his domain expansion.
"A Domain expansion pfft." Toji thought.
The domain turned the surroundings from a wooded area, into a Nighttime area with nothing in the surroundings. besides the bodies of Higa past enemies.
Higa suddenly applied his cursed technique, dancing in the moonlit environment with the sound of whistling in the area. His beautiful appearance and white hair flowed as the shadows from all the surrounding areas disappeared into his body.
Throwing a punch at Toji he misses but a second punch from a shadow figure hits Toji and sends him back.
Toji's cursed spirit spit out a blade connected to a chain. Going on the attack from a range he begins slicing the shadows defending Higa, as they disappeared one by one. Higa suddenly lost one of his 4 arms.
"AGH" Higa screamed as he generated a shadow replacement to his missing arm.
"Who are you and why are you so strong." Said Higa with an expression of confusion.
Toji plants his feet in the ground and launches himself at Higa and grabs his face with his palm as he dragged him through the ground.
Tossing Higa away he looks down on Higa's beaten body.
With the chain in hand, he thrusted the blade towards Higa's face, but another figure blocked the attack and grabbed Higa's body and made a retreat.
"Little brother, are you alright?" Said Shiba, Higa's older brother.
"We must retreat this man is a monster." said Higa as he is groaning in immense pain.
Shiba suddenly planted his feet in the wet ground and touched his sheathed sword and stayed completely still.
Even Toji felt danger ahead if he rushed an attack. The cursed spirit spit out a few daggers and Toji threw them at immense speeds, but at the same moment it reached Higa is the same moment Toji was cut across his chest.
Pushed back to the edge of the domain.
"I cannot move within your domain brother; I will override your domain this may hurt." He said as he transmutes into a Smaller in fit young man with a sword on his side.
The environment suddenly turned into an Icy environment, but instead of the spirits going on the attack they ran, ran as if their life depended on it. Even the more intelligent and powerful Shiba felt it.
