Chapter 8 - Unhidden Secret's

Sophia and Levon returned from their shopping spree, bags filled with dresses, jewelry, makeup, shoes, and everything in between. Levon, \

ith an unusually big smile on his face, held her hand as they made their way back to the mansion. While Sophia found his smile a bit peculiar, she dismissed it, attributing it to the pleasures of a successful shopping day.

Upon reaching the grand estate, Levon took charge of the bags, while still holding onto Sophia's hand. They headed to their bedroom,

he opened the door, revealing a room filled with anticipation.

He guided her to the bed, a glint of mischief in his eyes. Levon placed the bags on the dressing table, assuring her,

"You can go change first. I'll be here. I have some business to attend to."

Sophia, excited about her new purchases, headed to the washroom to change. As she closed the door behind her,

Levon's expression changed. He swiftly moved to attend a call, but the shoes she had hidden earlier were still there.

He burst into laughter, the sound echoing through the room. Sophia, oblivious to the things happening outside, changed into her new attire.

Levon, with a smirk playing on his lips, cut the call and resumed his seat, still chuckling.

Sophia emerged from the washroom, her eyes widening as she saw Levon laughing. Bewildered, she asked,

"What happened?"

Levon, with an unsettling intensity, looked up at her. His laughter subsided, and he said in a strangely scary tone,

"Nothing, just nothing. I find something really funny right about now."

Sophia, still trying to comprehend, inquired further,

"What? What's so funny?"

Levon laughed even harder, biting his lips as he got up. He moved towards her,Sophia, feeling uneasy,

stepped back and found herself cornered. Levon, now towering over her, said,

"You wanna know? Sure, I'll give it to you. It's you. I think you're really funny. Wanna know why?"

Sophia, growing more anxious, replied,

"Yea? sure.., tell me. What's so funny?"

Levon, suddenly changing his tone, stopped and stepped back, his black hair partially covering his face. He looked up, a chilling smirk on his lips, and said in a haunting voice,

"No, I won't tell you. You'll get to know yourself, figure it out, b**ch."

With that, he left the room, leaving Sophia in shock. She slowly sank to the ground, the weight of his words and the unexpected turn of events crushing her.

The room, once a sanctuary of possibilities, now felt like a labyrinth of shadows.

As Sophia sat on the floor, the echoes of Levon's laughter lingered in the air. She questioned herself, wondering what she might have done to trigger such a reaction.

In the wake of Levon's departure, Sophia found herself alone, grappling with a newfound fear and confusion.

The shadows that danced around their marriage now showed their teeth, leaving Sophia to confront the chilling reality that her world had taken an unexpected turn.

The night hung heavy with an air of tension as Sophia waited in the dimly lit room, the emptiness around her accentuating the weight of the unknown

. Levon hadn't come to their shared space to sleep, and as the minutes ticked by, anxiety nestled in Sophia's chest.
