I stood over the single centipede that was left without saying a single thing.
Of course, I didn't let my guard down as I stood there.
Though the one thing that I had to be careful of was how Yan Ling and the others would react.
I could see from the looks on their faces that they wanted to take care of this centipede then and there. They really wanted to take care of the centipede so it wouldn't be able to do anything else.
But I stopped them by standing in between them and the centipede.
Though I could see that they were looking at me as if they were telling me to get out of the way.
After a moment of silence, the centipede finally said, "Just who are you? How are you able to take away my power like that?"
I didn't answer this question and instead said, "It's not your turn to ask questions, it's mine."
Though I said this, it didn't seem like the centipede was actually afraid of me.
It seemed like it still didn't give up on trying to find a way out of this place.
