"What a lovely welcome, kya~"
Staring at Berserker of Black in her beautiful wedding dress, Miku's eyes sparkled. She loved all kinds of cute girls, and Frankenstein was no exception.
As the current holders of the Greater Grail, the Yggdmillennia would naturally do everything in their power to defend their Castle. Because of that, golems and heavily armed Homunculi prepared for battle.
Lancer of Black narrowed his eyes, staring intently at the women in the sky.
With Jeanne revealing the identity of The Monster, the group did not hesitate and attacked with everything they had.
"Oh? Progenitor."
Kotori squinted and smiled. A total of eight Servants did not frighten her in the slightest. On the contrary, the Berserker within her boiled with fighting intent.
"Since you've called me a progenitor, it's my duty to teach the children a lesson!"
"Metatron! Kadour!"
But before Kotori could act, Origami had already summoned her Angel, and beams of light rained down on all the Servants below.
As an Angel of Extermination, the floating pillars were God's judgment, the Crown of the Gods. Origami alone forced all eight Servants into a corner.
Boom, boom, boom
A rain of lasers poured down upon the Castle. Whether Homunculi or golems, all fell before the light. That was only to be expected from an ability ranked A. In the alternate Date A Live timeline, Origami had annihilated an entire city on her own, and if not for Shidou, humanity might have fallen.
This was the level of danger brought by Authority Number One—Keter, the Crown of a Champion. Even though Origami had not yet reached the Throne, her power had already reached that of the Gods, as an Angel of Extermination.
Jeanne spread her Flag, and thanks to her immunity to magic, she was able to block the beams of light without issue. The same could not be said for the other Servants.
"Ahhh! Wait, wait, stop shooting already!"
Astolfo was one of those who suffered the most under Origami's automatic bombardment.
With his Hippogriff, he was an especially tempting target, and the pillars chased him like candy.
"Typical of a mother when a child disobeys… you want to punish us."
Lancer of Black made things troublesome. He activated his Noble Phantasm, and black stakes burst from the ground, shielding him from the laser beams. Thanks to the reinforcement bonus from his territory ability, the stakes were even able to block attacks from the sky. That alone was a feat. Origami's attacks carried the punishment of heaven, giving them A-rank power. However, since the pillars were attacking all the Servants and the Castle at once, Origami's overall output was spread thinner. Because of that, the stakes were launched toward the sky, aimed at Kotori and the girls.
"Not bad."
Against an attack of that level, the girls' Astral Dresses were more than enough to endure it—except for Miku.
Kotori, however, kept it simple. Her body burst into flames, and the stakes melted the instant they entered her ring of fire, shielding Miku and Origami behind her.
"As expected of the progenitor mother. My lances won't reach you so easily…"
Vlad III could create up to two thousand stakes instantly and continue producing more as long as he had mana and time. Even so, before such a terrifying Noble Phantasm—
As a son of Adam and Eve, Vlad III could not escape the law that children cannot oppose their parents.
Therefore, his stakes could never reach the Evas as long as they remained in the air.
Moreover, with Metatron—the Angel of Extermination, the judgment of heaven—his stakes were ineffective against the power of the skies.
"The progenitors are incredible. Is this the power of Kabbalah? The power of the Original human?"
Unlike Vlad III, Caster of Black was ecstatic. Hidden within his workshop, the beams of light could not reach him, but it was regrettable that his golems were utterly powerless against the attacks. His familiars could do nothing more than serve as eyes to monitor the area.
Avicebron's desire had always been to complete his work—the Golem Keter Malkuth.
To replicate the greatness of the Gods by creating an Original human, an Adam with power surpassing the Gods themselves, was irresistible.
Now, with the Evas displaying their power, Avicebron grew even more excited.
"Blessed Holy Grail, thank you for allowing me to witness this. So many Evas… our progenitors… it's beautiful."
It was beautiful, and yet terribly lonely, because something vital was missing.
"Do not worry, my dear progenitors. Very soon, Adam will be complete, and you will be able to reshape this world as you see fit and live happily ever after…"
That was right. Adam was missing.
The progenitors were flying everywhere, but the most important piece of Genesis was absent.
Adam.
Although Avicebron had witnessed the power of The Monster, this was not the Adam he desired. He wanted the Adam who would bring forth Eden and create a paradise upon this earth.
Because of that, Avicebron believed this was his purpose in this war—to give these Evas an Adam with whom they would give birth to a new humanity.
It was unfortunate that his Adam was not yet ready. His Golem lacked a crucial component: the Spirit Core that would make it function. His plan had been to sacrifice a Homunculus, but so far none of them possessed the resilience needed to give life to the giant.
Yet he could not wait any longer. The Evas were already here, and Genesis could only begin with Adam.
With that thought, Avicebron's eyes gleamed as he glanced at the small Master beside him.
It seemed the perfect core had been at his side all along.
"What is it, Master?"
The young Master asked in confusion. Since summoning Caster, this was the first time he had felt such a piercing gaze from him.
"…"
Avicebron did not answer. He turned his head and continued to gaze at the Evas, marveling at creation.
"Saber, destroy them!"
The Masters had already evacuated the battlefield, and through the contract, Gordes Musik bore witness to the destruction of the heavens, cold sweat running down his back.
If they had not heeded Jeanne's warning, they would have been annihilated along with the Castle.
The Castle now resembled a wasp nest, riddled with holes as it began to collapse.
Fortunately, they were far enough away that they did not need to worry.
"Understood, Master…"
As the trump card of the Black faction, Siegfried dodged every attack from the sky, not daring to take even a single hit. Even with the armor of the evil dragon Fafnir, the armor that had made him invulnerable in life was like paper before the punishment of heaven.
Metatron was an A-rank Angel of Extermination. Against that, his B+ armor was useless.
That was only natural. Even Tohka, who possessed one of the strongest Astral Dresses, was defenseless against Metatron. This Angel ignored defense entirely and attacked the user directly.
Because of that, Siegfried relied on his agility and battle experience, deflecting the beams with Balmung as he ran toward the Evas in the sky.
Naturally, this did not escape Origami's notice. She moved her hand, and more pillars gathered around her, bombarding Siegfried.
"Archer, support Saber! Release your Noble Phantasms!"
"Yes, Master!"
With his A+ agility, Chiron easily evaded the judgment of heaven. Even so, he was powerless to attack the Evas in the sky. Kotori's ring of fire melted his arrows before they could reach them. A Noble Phantasm, however, was different.
He raised his bow to the heavens, and it shone. Fortunately, as a Divine Spirit, Chiron was the only one on the Black side who could bypass the iron law that children cannot defeat their parents. After all, Chiron was the son of a Titan and a Goddess, not of humanity.
The constellations in the sky began to glow. Sagittarius raised its bow, aiming at the Evas.
A projectile of pure magical power did not go unnoticed by the girls.
In response, Origami's pillars converged around her, forming a Cannon as they began to accumulate Spirit Power.
Antares Snipe was an A-rank Noble Phantasm. Origami's logic was simple—counter it with an even stronger attack.
"Before the Crown of the Champions, nothing has meaning. I am that Crown."
She would pierce everything—even the constellations.
"Artelif!"
