Munch, munch
In a high-end restaurant in Romania, in one particular corner, the only sound that could be heard was food being chewed and devoured.
There was only one person at the table, yet the number of plates piled around her rose like a tower.
The surreal sight made the surrounding patrons stare in astonishment. After all, the girl was quite beautiful, and despite the absurd amount of food she was consuming, her stomach showed no sign of bulging. It was so flat it looked as if it contained a black hole. Still, none of that mattered to the person in question…
"More! More food!"
Instead, she raised the empty plate in her hand and shouted her order.
Of course, there was no doubt that this beautiful woman was Tohka, the gluttonous angel.
"I can't believe it… she can still eat more…"
Rin, who had been watching the whole spectacle from a distant table, muttered in shock.
Tohka was an eating machine. Halfway through the meal, Rin and Luviagelita had been forced to change tables so as not to interrupt her, and also to avoid the strange looks from passersby.
Now she understood why Tohka had run out of "fuel" in the middle of the fight. With an appetite like a beast's, it was only natural that a few small cookies hadn't been enough to satisfy her.
She also understood why Tohka was expensive. A normal magus simply couldn't afford her…
Fortunately, just as Nia had mentioned, Luviagelita had no issues with money.
"Avenger, you're our Berserker…"
But at this moment, Luviagelita's mind wasn't on money. She frowned, trying to piece together what Rin had just told her.
Rin hadn't summoned three Servants. There was only one. The Heroic Spirits currently with them were merely that Servant's Noble Phantasms…
There was no doubt that the Servant Rin had summoned was a terrifying existence. A dual-summon Servant, the Berserker of the Blue Team, one called forth through a special circle.
So strong that Luviagelita could hardly believe it. Yet with the evidence right in front of her, she had no choice but to change her way of thinking.
It wasn't unheard of for some Servants to possess Noble Phantasms that were other Heroic Spirits. In fact, during the Fourth Holy Grail War in Fuyuki City, Waver Velvet had summoned a Rider who fell into that category. Even so, they were nowhere near as strong as Tohka, Yoshino, and Est. They had required an Inherent Barrier just to manifest and lacked the independence those three possessed.
That worried Luviagelita. If that was the case, then Rin was undoubtedly the strongest Master in this world-scale Holy Grail War…
"Tohsaka Rin, how many Noble Phantasms does Avenger have?" Luviagelita was panicking now.
Rin, on the other hand, swallowed and looked away guiltily as she raised both hands.
"Ten?! Are you insane, Tohsaka Rin?!"
As one of the founding families of the Holy Grail War, it was obvious why the Tohsaka family possessed an Ancient Summoning Book. Still, it was absurd that the summoned Servant had ten Noble Phantasms.
"What were you thinking?! How could you summon something like that?!"
Luviagelita was shaken. Rin had completely thrown the balance of the Holy Grail War into chaos. She could easily imagine how terrifying it would be to face ten independent Servants who didn't require their Master's magical energy and were as powerful as high-ranking Servants.
"There's a reason it's called an ancient book, you know?!"
"I didn't know! I thought it would fail!"
If Luviagelita knew that Rin was lying, that Avenger actually had more than ten Noble Phantasms, she would've exploded. Rin defended herself while wracked with guilt.
"Even if you didn't know, you should've at least made sure the Command Spells worked."
Rin's cowardice, her inability to confront her own Servant, made Luviagelita's blood boil.
What if that Servant went out of control?
It would be the end for everyone…
Fortunately, after taking a deep breath and calming herself, Luviagelita lifted her teacup and asked again.
"What is his name? What legend does Avenger belong to?"
With that much power, Luviagelita already had a few candidates in mind from various terrifying legends. Even so, she wanted confirmation from Rin…
"…"
After waiting a few seconds with no response, Rin lowered her head even further.
"If you're worried that revealing Avenger's name would expose his weakness, I can tell you Lancer's name as well."
There were many Servants whose weaknesses were revealed along with their names, Achilles being a prime example.
Luviagelita assumed that was what Rin was worried about. As allies, she was willing to reveal her own Servant's name in return. Besides, she doubted a Servant as powerful as Avenger would have such an obvious weakness just from his name…
"….."
Rin remained silent, trying to divert her attention to the orange juice in her glass.
A sinister premonition crossed Luviagelita's mind.
"Tohsaka Rin… you… do you even know your Servant's name?"
Swallowing, Luviagelita asked cautiously, hoping her bad feeling was nothing more than paranoia…
"…"
When she saw Rin lower her head even more, cold sweat dripping down her cheeks, Luviagelita's eyes widened.
Rin's guilty expression said everything.
"You don't even know that?! What kind of Master are you?!"
"It's not my fault! I lost consciousness during the summoning, and when I woke up, Avenger was gone! I didn't have time to ask!"
(Even if I had time, I wouldn't have asked either.)
She added that silently in her heart as she defended herself.
Luviagelita had no idea how terrifying Avenger was…
Rin had no doubt that Luviagelita would soak her panties too if she saw Avenger's gaze. It was like being looked at as trash—overwhelmingly dominant, like an executioner staring at a condemned prisoner.
"You cowardly gorilla!"
"What did you say?!"
The argument quickly escalated into a physical struggle, both of them gripping each other's hands tightly as they tried to push the other back.
"Hyaa~ you two are really fired up, but if you keep this up, you'll scare the other diners~"
Fortunately, in the middle of their scuffle, the rabbit puppet slipped in between the two magi.
That was enough to make them stop and finally become aware of their surroundings.
Many people were staring at them. Even with Tohka drawing most of the attention, their voices had been loud enough to stand out.
It seemed both magi had forgotten something as basic as a sound-elimination spell.
"Tch! We'll settle this later, Miss Gorilla…"
"Same here, sausage curls!"
With an unspoken truce, both of them returned to their drinks, while Nia took the chance to tease Rin.
[Hehehe, such good friends~]
"She's not my friend!!"
Romania, Yggdmillennia Family Base…
Gazing at the imposing castle stood a blonde girl with beautifully braided hair.
Her pure amethyst eyes narrowed as she surveyed her surroundings.
Despite her seemingly pure appearance, her sex appeal was overwhelming. Even in her battle dress, her beautiful curves were clearly visible, not to mention the strength she carried.
Her name was Jeanne d'Arc, a Ruler Class Servant.
As a Servant destined to act as judge and Arbiter in this war, her original task had been to supervise the fourteen Servants of this Great War.
However, everything changed overnight when the Great Grail transformed into a World Cup.
A cup powerful enough to alter Parallel Worlds.
Now, she had to oversee twenty-eight Servants.
After all, they were far too strong. The more Servants were summoned, the stronger they became.
So much so that even the Great Caster and the King of Heroes were called into this world-scale war.
For Jeanne, this was enough to work her to death. She couldn't stop beings like those—they were simply too powerful. Even though she possessed the Command Spells of every Servant, as an Arbiter she couldn't use them casually.
Even so, Jeanne was still managing… until that was summoned.
A Servant that should never have been summoned, an existence that completely shattered the balance.
It was something that should not have been called forth, as it would bring disastrous consequences for everyone. Yet the impossible happened, and its summoning resulted in the creation of a singularity…
Staring at the enormous black hole in the sky and the moon split clean in half, Jeanne pressed her lips together. She knew she couldn't handle this alone. It was her duty to stop that "thing."
"Original Sin…"
