Chapter 505 - [503] Meeting

At Itogami Island's port, two luxurious ships arrived.

They bore the insignias of the "Warlord's Empire" and the "Falled Dynasty."

August stood at the dock with his entourage, waiting. The arrival of two progenitors warranted some respect, after all.

"So, you're August? Quite the surprise. You killed the Fourth Progenitor, had your subordinate devour their power to become the new Fourth Progenitor, and even defeated Giada."

Before the ship docked, a man appeared before August.

He wore a plain white short-sleeved shirt and ordinary pants—looking like a common laborer.

But he was no ordinary man. This was Ki Juranbarada, the First Progenitor of the Warlord's Empire—one of the world's most powerful and fearsome beings.

Unlike Giada Kukulcan, he commanded a staggering seventy-two familiars—several times more than Giada or the Second Progenitor, Aswad-Guul Aziz.

"First Progenitor, it's our first meeting. Forgive me for not greeting you sooner."

"Yo, I'm Ki Juranbarada."

"August."

The two exchanged smiles, as if they were old friends to an onlooker.

Step, step.

Footsteps approached. A woman with purple hair and red eyes walked over, exuding a queenly aura akin to Giada's.

"Welcome, Second Progenitor."

"Well, hello. So you're the Demon King who beat Giada? Quite the handsome one."

The Second Progenitor's eyes lit up as she regarded August. His looks, perfectly tailored to feminine tastes, held immense appeal—even to a vampire progenitor.

At that moment, Giada Kukulcan stepped out from the side.

The First and Second Progenitors frowned instantly upon seeing her.

As fellow progenitors, they could sense it—Giada was incredibly weak, perhaps not even elder-tier. Pathetically so.

"Giada, what's this…?"

The First Progenitor couldn't help but ask.

"Well, this man killed me, and I revived. So my strength took a big hit."

"This—"

The First and Second Progenitors exchanged a glance, shock evident in their eyes.

They'd known August defeated Giada, but not that he'd killed her.

She'd only survived thanks to the "Kaleid Blood" bringing her back.

"Since you've both come to Itogami Island, I'll skip the hassle and get straight to it."

August's words made the First and Second Progenitors frown.

"What are you getting at?"

The First Progenitor asked, his tone measured.

"I want to be this world's sole king. Progenitors are redundant in my reign. So, could I ask you both to die?"

That single sentence turned their expressions stony.

A faint killing intent radiated from them. After millennia at the top, some upstart calling them expendable and demanding their deaths? No one would take that lightly.

August didn't move, but Fenrir bared its fangs nearby.

In an instant, the First and Second Progenitors stiffened, staring at Fenrir in mild shock.

They felt it—a "threat of death" emanating from the beast. Fenrir's god-slaying fangs could kill even deities, let alone vampires.

A progenitor's "immortality" had limits and was relative.

Giada survived August because the Sword of Rupture lacked "slaying" or "certain kill" traits—just raw, unmatched destruction.

Her "Kaleid Blood" had barely saved her.

But against Fenrir, that curse was a joke.

"So, you're jumping straight to a fight?"

The First Progenitor eyed August. Though August had beaten the Fourth Progenitor and Giada, he didn't believe August could take him.

And for progenitors, war was a welcome diversion.

Boredom was a torment for vampires—doubly so for progenitors.

"Of course not here. A battle would wreck my territory. So, I've picked a special spot for you."

Darkness enveloped them. In the next second, August, the First Progenitor, and the Second Progenitor vanished.

Giada Kukulcan jolted in surprise. She hadn't expected August to wield spatial abilities.

Najenda, nearby, seemed to anticipate it and turned to leave.

"Hey, your master just vanished with the First and Second Progenitors. Aren't you worried?"

Giada asked, puzzled by Najenda's calm departure.

"August took those two to his domain. There, not even progenitors—let alone gods—could match him."

"His domain?"

Giada was curious and confused. Wasn't August's domain Itogami Island? Was there another place?

Najenda didn't elaborate, continuing on without pause.

Meanwhile, in a small world, August brought the First and Second Progenitors.

The sudden shift in surroundings startled them. A wide-range spatial transfer—executed without their consent, no less.

And this place felt utterly alien to them.

"Here's the tomb I've prepared for you both. Are you satisfied?"

"Pretty cocky, huh? You really think you've got us cornered?"

The Second Progenitor gave a sultry smile, while the silent First Progenitor clearly shared her sentiment.

August grinned, offering no explanation—just action.

Boom!

A terrifying pressure descended.

Even as progenitors, the First and Second were instantly overwhelmed.

In that moment, they realized in horror that their connections to their familiars were severed. They couldn't summon them.
