In a distant island surrounded with water, the island trembled as Serena and Sukuna clashed with Kirihai while blasting incredibly powerful beams of electricity and plasma that obliterated everything around them. Their bodies moving like streaks of light across the battlefield.
Serena unleashed a storm of electric bullets at rapid fire, glowing arcs tearing through the sky, while Sukuna fired relentless plasma beams that split the clouds apart and blowing mountains away with it's incredible fire power.
Kirihai darted effortlessly through the chaos, her grin widening.
"Nice—really nice! You girls have gotten stronger since last time. Good. Now I can finally go all out!"
With a flash, she drew her blade. The unsheathing alone released a shockwave so violent that the ocean currents whipped into towering tides, crashing against the island's shores.
In the next instant she vanished—reappearing behind Serena with a devastating kick that sent her crashing through the island's cliffs and mountains.
Sukuna retaliated instantly, summoning a massive plasma beam and firing it point-blank.
Kirihai only laughed, spinning her sword and deflecting the attack back at her as she ran and dodged with every bit of skills she had. These plasma beams were causing ginormous explosions of plasma.
Serena and Sukuna regrouped, sparks and plasma burning off their bodies. The two looked at each other before they launched forward together, their combined speed making them appear as twin meteors racing across the sky.
Kirihai charged towards them with a smirk on her face. The three collided in midair, their clash and movements causing explosions all over the sky, they were wiping and carving the island into pieces with every blow they threw at each other.
Serena surged forward , cloaking her fist in a massive gauntlet of lightning.
"Take this!" She exclaimed.
She threw a powerful punch of electricity at Kirihai, the punch alone sent powerful sparks of lightning all over the island, trees in its forest were being obliterated to ashes and the electricity of the blow caused more explosions of lightning.
Kirihai caught it on her sword despite the powerfull amount of electricity that she had packed. Serena got annoyed and proceeded to unleash a flurry of lightning punches that continuesly caused lightning explosions all over the sky. Both Serena and Kirihai were showcasing insane combat abilities as they darted through the air and causing explosions of electricity and dark energy. Serena was moving 10 times the speed of light while Kirihai was countering her every move.
Kirihai blocked all of Serena's blows, heler grin unshaken at all.
"Alright then… my turn!", Kirihai exclaimed.
Her knee shot upward, launching Serena skyward. In the next heartbeat she was above her, delivering a barrage of brutal kicks that juggled her opponent like a ragdoll in the sky. With a final strike, she hammered Serena down into the earth, the impact carving a crater into the island.
Kirihai raised her sword, a massive amount of dark energy was swirling around her as she was about to land the finishing slash.
"Devastating Slash!", Kirihai called our.
The blade came down, releasing an explosion that wiped out mountains in a single strike, flattening the terrain in a storm of black energy.
Before the dust settled, Sukuna appeared in a flash. She had grabbed Kirihai's sword strike that would have killed Serena. Her arm was injured and bleeding heavily due to the intensity of the slash she had caught.
"Death Beam!", she said out coldly.
Her plasma erupted into a colossal blast from the hand she had used to grab Kirihai's sword slash, this beam blasted Kirihai accross the island. She was crashing into the mountains and the forests of the island.
As she kept crashing, Kirihai flipped midair, landing gracefully on her feet, her grin only widened and became more unhinged.
"Interesting… very interesting.", she said.
Sukuna clicked her tounge and unleashed another Death Beam. But this time, Kirihai's expression grew serious. She raised her sword, dark-purple energy spiraling along the blade.
"Since you're using your special move… I'll answer with mine."
Her weapon glowed with a destructive energy, unstable and violent.
"Sorata… thanks for teaching me this."
Her voice lowered to a whisper.
"Destructive Energy Infusion: Devastating Calamity."
The sword unleashed a beam of destructive energy, colliding head-on with Sukuna's plasma. The explosion shook the island, a cataclysmic explosion was caused due to the clash of both attacks. For a moment, lightning bolts fell down from the sky.
As Kirihai continued to fight against Serena and Sukuna with insane agility and combat skills, it was obvious she had the upper hand in the fight. Her mind drifted despite the intense battle.
Flashback – The Grasslands
Kirihai, Shinki, Sorata, and Kenji lounged under the sun, they were the strongest and deadliest criminals of the Dark Sign that were still alive so far. Yet, for a fleeting moment, they were hanging around while trying to enjoy the peace around them as the wind blew.
Kenji suddenly got an idea as he sat on the grass
"Hey, I've got an idea—let's see who can make the biggest explosion."
The others blinked in confusion.
"…What?" Sorata asked flatly.
Kenji grinned.
"Think about it—we barely ever have fun. We're either fighting other criminal groups trying to kill us, or on the run from other soliders hunting us down. So why not let ourselves and show each other what we're capable of? Maybe it'll push us to grow stronger."
Shinki was still confused, but then a faint smile crossed his face.
"…I see. So you want us to push ourselves by seeing who's the strongest, so that we can help ourselves t9 become stronger. Makes sense.".
Kenji shrugged. "Pretty much. Who knows how long we'll live? Might as well have fun and push ourselves together, I guess.".
Sorata sighed. "This is random as hell. But… fine.", Kirihai teased him "You know, you should try to have fun a bit. Don't be a downer, Sorata.".
Shinki stepped forward first. His body erupted in crimson energy. His eyes narrowed.
"Overkill!", he muttered coldly.
The beam he released erased twelve mountains at once. The ground quaked, the air burned, and even the others were left surprised.
Kirihai's jaw dropped.
"What the—?! That was insane!"
Kenji smirked. "Hm, that's no surprise. That's our number one for you."
Sorata stretched lazily. "Alright, my turn.", he stood up. His arms pulsed with purple destructive energy.
"You know my condition—I can't go all out without burning myself. But… I'll risk it.", he shot our two powerful beams of destructive energy.
His attack annihilated two mountains in a powerful explosion of purple energy, this left his arms smoking and charred.
Kenji frowned. "Damn… are your arms okay? You didn't have to go all out like that."
"I'll manage," Sorata muttered.
Kenji then summoned lightning and fire all over his arms, he fused them together before blasting the fire and lightning combination. The attack resulted in an explosion of of flames and lightning that wiped out half a mountain and drilling a hole through another. After ths smoke cleared due to the explosion, Kenji smirked.
"…I can do more, but honestly? I don't feel like it."
Both Sorata and Shinki seemed annoyed
"THEN WHY BOTHER?!", they exclaimed with annoyance.
Kirihai chuckled nervously.
"Well… guess it's my turn."
She drew her blade, energy gathering at its edge. With one massive slash, she leveled the forest, leaving behind a massive crater.
Shinki crossed his arms.
"Not bad. Still weaker than ours though."
Kirihai scowled. "Are you kidding me?! I tried!"
Kenji chuckled. "It's decent. Not Shinki or Sorata's level… but not bad for a sword girl."
Her annoyance flared. "Tch… let me try again—"
Sorata cut in, placing a hand on her sword. His destructive energy surged into her weapon, causing it to become stronger.
"Here. Try it with this.", Sorata said to her.
Kirihai's eyes widened as purple energy consumed the blade. She swung—
The explosion was massive, far beyond her previous attempt, this caused even more destruction than the last sword swing.
