Morning
I don't know how I did it, but I did it!
Beside me is a copy of myself, although not physically present but it resembles me accurately!
This is one of the 3 basic ninjutsu taught in the academy. The clone jutsu.
1 month ago my pool has reached the proper amount for me to perform jutsu without draining myself. I learned that the hard way.
I did it 1 week later after feeling my chakra and passed out due to the lack of chakra I have that what was required.
Luckily my parents didn't come home till later where I was already awake.
So, with that incident, I didn't bother performing any of the 3 jutsu until I was confident I wouldn't pass out again.
In the 3 months that passed, all baby fats were gone. Though there's no signs of muscles yet but I can feel myself become stronger than normal people(civilian).
It took me 1 month to properly cast the clone jutsu, and that was a week ago, albeit slow since I still struggle with the hand signs. I have mastered the hand signs, but I can't perform them fast enough.
I even tried to feel what those authors of fictions said in their books. Something about the feeling when performing the hand seals so that you can perform the jutsu with lesser or better without using hand signs at all.
While it is true, it is quite hard to do it.
Even with my low reserves which renders chakra manipulation and control easier the most.
Although I did mention I can now perform a jutsu... I am only referring to the 3 basic ninjutsu.
And I only mastered the clone jutsu not the other two yet. I can perform the clone jutsu only twice before straining myself.
So I've been casting them 2 times before recovering my reserves with the breathing pattern I learned.
The recovery happens naturally even if I do nothing but it becomes faster when I meditate and follow the breathing pattern.
In a day, it took me only an hour to recover due to the small reserve I got which I have increased into a size of fist. It takes 5 minutes to cast 2 clone jutsu consecutively.

Evening, Dinner
"Osamu-chan, how's your training so far?" mom asked out of the blue. Although we still talk occasionaly every dinner, it never went to the subject about my training.
"It's going well mother. I have already began sticking leaves to my body to practice my chakra control. Hehe" Both of them looked surprised at my answer, I really held back my answer you know.
Sticking leaves is perfectly normal to me now. Even sticking on my room's ceiling and walls or trees outside.
The only exercise I have not yet tried is walking on water.
"You have already awaken your chakra?" My father asked.
"Yes father, about thr- a month ago." There I held back pretty well. But father's exaggerated reaction of intaking full of air tells me I should've held back more.
"It only took you 2 months to awaken your chakra?"
No father, it took me only a few hours to do it! But you're reactions are precisely why I am not saying anything accurate!
Although my chakra pool is getting bigger as I continue practicing, it also began slowing down which means I am nearing the limit of my current body's age.
Time to think of a reason why it took me apparently 'just 2 months'.
"Yes, I almost gave up halfway through but persisted because I want to be able to protect the both of you." At least half of that is true. Not that it entered their ears at all as they seem to be high.
"My boy is a genius!"
"Yes, we have a genius son hahaha!!!"
They celebrated my accomplishment, and what can I say. It moved me a bit as my mouth curved into a smile.
It doesn't matter to me if the world celebrated my birthday. But with the people I love? Nothing brings me bigger joy than that, and I will protect them from this world, I swear it!
"I wonder if your younger sibling will have the same talent as you?" My mother asked suddenly while caressing her stomach.
"Right, of course your pregnant. Hold on. Is it a girl or a boy?" I asked. Not really surprising there with all the fights they had every night, it was only a matter of time.
"We still haven't checked yet. We will know it on the weekend once you're mother takes her day off from work." Father answered.
"Well, I guess that gives me more motivation to become stronger so I can protect my soon to be born baby brother or sister!"
And so the dinner was full of celebration. My apparent genius and my new soon to be born sibling.

Few minutes after midnight
I have just used up my reserves again so I began recovering it.
One hour later
Once I was done recovering my chakra I relaxed a bit but didn't open eyes yet as I am thinking of something.
I just thought that, if chakra is formed by combining the physical and spiritual energy then how is it formed?
Or how did it happen? How did it combine? How did it fuse?
Leading with that thought, I did the breathing pattern and tried to feel my chakra.
Instantly, I felt the my chakra pathway system which I am already familiar of, even the 8 tenketsu points.
But these are all things I already know, I am searching for something else. How is chakra formed?
Focus
Breath
Concentrate and feel what's inside me.
1 hour
2 hrs
3 hours later, I felt it.
Something different.
A different feeling from chakra.
I feel two connections from my dantian, it is connected to something located in the center of my body above the dantian and the other in the center of my head.
I held on to that feeling. Although I can't explain it yet but I know what they are and I must familiarize this feeling.
I must be able to feel them again later once I stop this.
Exhaustion came up to me as my concentration was broken.
And so, I slept with a few hours remaining until the sun rises.

Another 3 months passed
I have successfully mastered another jutsu, and it's the transformation jutsu in an instant.
Yes, I've familiarized making hand signs to the point that I can do both jutsu in a single second.
Transformation jutsu requires 3 hand sign while Clone jutsu requires 4. Performing those hand seals under a single second took quite a while to be able to do.
I have also finally graduated from a peanut sized chakra reserve to a baseball size and managed to make it as big as a basketball.
So during the 3 months that passed, I focused on mastering another one of the 3 basic jutsu which helped in increasing my reserves.
In the evening, I would familiarize myself with the 2 different energy present in the human body of this world.
The spiritual(mental) energy as described in the scroll and the physical(stamina) energy. Although both were mentioned, there was no further explanation besides the fact that both energy is what chakra is composed of.
Anyway, spiritual energy is not a new concept to me. Besides the fact that its been discussed by the scroll, I knew a few animes that utilizes it. The physical energy however, not one anime comes to mind. It's not like I've watched a lot so.
The scroll I got doesn't have anything about taijutsu so I simply focused on what I have. Even in my last life I've learned not to be too greedy and focus on what's in front of me.
Seeking for more sometimes just leads to your own destruction
There's 6 months left before my baby sister is born, and 8 months left before I can enroll in the academy during the start of the term.
So back to the two energy I've discovered. Both of which are hard to control and it took me great effort and time to even have a bit of reaction from my spiritual energy while I had no results with the physical energy whatsoever.
Since the spiritual energy is all I can focus on then that's what I've been working on since and now.
In the same meditating posture when I first started feeling chakra, the breathing pattern is already second nature to me.
Immediately my focus shifted to the energy to pulsating in the center of my head.
Stimulating the same reaction as last time I tried to gather some of it and have it circulating in the pathways located in my head.
I seem to have been as successful as there were no backlash or feedback from the source. Once it has made a full circulation my senses suddenly sharpened out of my expectation.
Wide eyed and heart beating fast I began to panic due to the sudden informations received by my brain.
From my breathing, heart beat, the temperature of air I breathe out, the dust floating around, the ticking of the clock on the wall, the sound of a lizard crawling in the ceiling, the sound of insects outside, the breathing of my parents and other people in their houses next to ours and more.
Took me awhile to gather myself and started calming down as I continue sensing the surroundings.
Once I've calmed down, I focused on what's happening in my head and it was fast!
Immediately I understood, circulating spiritual energy in my head increases my perception, 5 basic senses, and even my thought process.
With a smile on my face, I further explored my discovery until morning.
