Now that Elaina is going to be searching for the Plague Bringer with her ex-husband, she has decided to return home to prepare. Alfred said that he has a bit of an idea of where a Calamity Summoner might be hiding if it were in its infancy. And since it won't become a Calamity Summoner just yet until it unleashes a few plagues on its own before getting accustomed to its power, the Plague Bringer will become docile for a while until the next cast of new plagues, which may become a lethal plague. Of course, Elaina prays that doesn't happen, or if the Plague Bringer does cast the next plague, it won't be a dangerous one, and they can still buy enough time to find it before it unleashes another one.
