Madeline immediately jumped onto my ship, causing the deck to rattle slightly beneath her feet when she landed. Judging from how quickly she had arrived, it seemed that she had heard about the battle and decided that staying on her own ship was apparently not an option anymore. She looked far too excited for someone who had just arrived in the middle of a naval battle, although I suppose that was probably the expected reaction from someone like Madeline.
"Hahahahaha! Seems like they are attacking at night! I thought so! Mermaids are generally not very good at fighting in the dark, so it makes sense why they would choose to come at them like this!"
