"If the other member of the species is willing to cooperate, it can minimize its own influence. The second consciousness of the evolved Double-headed Flame Crow is born from the first consciousness. Although it's independent, its interests and personality are very similar, so of course they're highly in sync."
"But if the other one isn't willing to cooperate..." Xu Ran paused for a second, "then its emotions and obsessions will linger much more in the Spirit that gets taken, affecting the newly formed second consciousness."
"You forced another Red Fire Crow to cooperate with your Red Fire Crow for its evolution, so the other one's emotions were definitely resistant. That bit of resistance fused into the Spirit that your Red Fire Crow devoured, creating the new consciousness."
Xu Ran glanced at the Red Fire Crow, "So the second consciousness will subconsciously resist the preferences and actions of the first consciousness."
"Commonly called, arguing for the sake of arguing."
