"Are you sure it's to see the world? And not to be a bodyguard?" Li Yifei retorted.
Wu Shuwei furrowed her brows and said, "There might be a bit of that."
"I feel like that's exactly your intention."
"So... will you agree?"
"No." Li Yifei shook his head.
Wu Shuwei suddenly felt a bit disappointed. It was almost unheard of for her to invite a man out so proactively, and after managing to say it with feigned composure, she was rejected. Disappointment was evident between Wu Shuwei's brows. She took a breath, adjusted her emotions, nodded towards Li Yifei, and said, "Well, I'm leaving then, see you tonight."
As she turned to leave, she heard Li Yifei's voice behind her, "But if there's a feast involved, I might reluctantly accept this task."
Wu Shuwei paused just one step into her exit, her previously tense face relaxed, she turned back to look at Li Yifei, and said, "Then... go change your clothes."
