"Damn, why does this palace feel like a maze? Too many twists, too many small doors!"
When Basil Jaak followed closely through the small door on the left of the main hall, alongside those six men, he turned a corner after passing through two doors and froze.
Damn it, lost them even though they were so close?
Observing the surroundings closely, Basil Jaak discovered that this palace must have some significant background. Every door, every corridor, even every wall seems to be set in accordance with some pattern in the Yin Yang Bagua.
Although Basil Jaak vaguely suspected this, his unfamiliarity with Yin Yang Bagua meant he couldn't comprehend the mysteries within and could only blindly forge ahead.
Inside the palace, all paths were paved with bluestone, walls on either side, a stone corridor in the middle. Every ten steps or so, he would see a small door leading to an annex.
Basil Jaak followed the corridor without turning and found more than a dozen annexes.
