"My bad, wasn't I just thinking of coming along with you?"
"You don't need to go. I went for a check-up yesterday; there's nothing wrong." Ye Ranran thought for a moment and understood why he was insistent on going.
"What did the doctor say?" Jun Mochan's tone was a bit sullen. He hadn't asked, and she simply didn't tell him. What was that supposed to mean?
"Nothing's wrong, everything's fine, not a single problem."
"And the CT scan and report?"
"At home."
Jun Mochan seemed to believe what Ye Ranran said and didn't press further. He took her hand, "Come on, I'll go with you."
"You should go back; I can go by myself." Ye Ranran tried to pull her hand away but didn't expect him to hold on tighter.
"You don't want me to go to the hospital. Are you hiding a pretty boy there?" he said, pretending not to care.
"What nonsense are you talking? I just don't want you up late working again." Kind intentions not being appreciated.
