Chapter 64 - Chapter 64: Raven’s Daily Life

Raven had honestly thought that his summer would be kinda boring. Not going on dead apostle hunts unless necessary, no major fighting or exploring, just being a couch potato.

It hadn't actually been so bad. He kept up with his training and mastering his abilities. He spared with Saber plently. Shirou would sometimes join in to make a three way battle.

He still enjoyed using the styles and techniques of other people for sheer amusement purposes. It brings him great joy.

However he knew that eventually he would have to use his own style, so he worked on making his own forms for his usual weapons.

Oh!

Another thing he was working on, his emotions. He had sat down and thought through his emotions. No more supressing everything, he had to deal with it and move forward.

So he did what he should have done.

He got a proper actual therapist, of course he got a magical one and forced a contract onto them, enforced by his abundant energy supplies. Thankfully the therapist was very understanding.

So he did attend therapy now, and it was working quite well. He still had moments of course, it wasn't going to instantly be fixed, but it was progress.

He didn't see churches and want to nuke them so hard it would make the whole world shake. Now he just wanted to avoid them with complete and utter silence.

"How are you feeling now Raven?" His therapist, a man in his early thirties. His name was Thomas Dathan. Bound by a VERY strong magical contract, and thus learnt of the supernatural world beyond the basics of what he knew already.

"Better. Like there's not as much weight pushing down on me. The voices in my head aren't telling me humanity needs to burn by my hands. It's quite nice having a quiet head for once." Raven said with a soft smile as he looked out the window at a bird flying by.

"That's good, but tell me how you personally feel? What are your emotions like throughout your day?" Thomas asked and Raven hummed as he thought about it.

"Relaxed. Calm when I do my morning training with Lori. Excited when I spar with Saber. Happy when I teach Rose to wield wizardry better then some grown adults. Annoyed when some spoiled pricks try to play politics with me and blasting them away is not worth the effort. Exhilarated when my experiments come out properly. Sad when I think about my mom. Perhaps melachonic when thinking on the past." He said and Thomas nodded as he wrote stuff down in his notepad.

"That's good, your experiencing your emotions properly. Do you ever feel they are too much for you? Just pushing past your limits? More then you can handle?"

"At times it's overwhelming and I find the need to escape and bury myself in books."

"A coping mechanism no doubt, but maybe try changing that, perhaps if a certain emotion is too much, try changing to a different one instead of trying to bury them away in solace."

"So I should try and force myself to embrace different emotions when others become too much?"

"Heavens no. I would simply recommend finding something that allows you to still embrace your emotions without losing yourself to a single emotion."

"I see. Well this is as much as I'm willing today. Till next time." Raven said before disappearing.

Thomas marked down in his notepad a single word.

Evasive.

It was progress though.

Raven let a small content sigh escape his lips as he enjoyed a lava bath inside a volcano. He had found it in a isolated area and the temperature was just right to relax his body.

That was also a curious thing he learned, his body could take much more then it could before, he was definitely stronger now, a lot stronger, but he didn't quite understand what had happened fully.

His body had changed, his dawn trigger form was gone, or perhaps it was better to say it was annexed into his true form. He had the wings and tail. Plus if he focused his eye sight enough he could see the scales mimicking a skin layer.

That wasn't to say he couldn't mimic the form itself and still take it on, but at this point it would be more for show then anything. It was still great for intimidation purposes of course.

"What's that noise?" Raven glanced up and blinked as he saw the falling form of something metallic… was that a bomb?

BOOM

Yep, it was a damn bomb.

His lovely volcano bath was destroyed and he was left floating in the air of the now destroyed volcano. What fucking idiot bombed a volcano? Especially one that hasn't even overflown yet.

"Don't smite the humans Raven, just head on out, you've got work to do and a Lori to bang." He sighed before flying off, his clothes appearing on him instantly before he was gone in a sonic boom confusing humans who tried to figure out what caused it.

"Wait, so these idiots sabotage each other in attempts to get a bigger budget? How does that even make sense?" Raven asked Lorelei who laughed softly.

"It doesn't, they're just stupid. Now, this is the budget for repairs, the budget for…" Raven regretted ever deciding to learn how to run the clocktower from Lorelei, but he had to stick through it.

"You look amazing in that!" Persephone said happily as she took a picture of Raven dressed up in a suit.

Yeah, he was currently in a clothing shop, just him and her, while she forced him to try on basically evening that fit.

"This is a little too tight." He muttered before altering his size to be a little smaller in the chest area to make it more comfortable.

"Don't go shrinking down, these are meant to fit you at your truest form. Now change out of those, revert back and put these one." She said and happily shoved a new set of clothes into his arms and he sighed.

Why did he go through with this? Oh right, because she was basically a mother figure in his life, what was he at now? Three of four?

McGonagall. Persephone. Wolf.

Was there another one?

"Oh you almost look like Hades." Persephone said happily and Raven amused himself by changing his looks to seem like a blend of himself, Hades and Persephone.

She pulled out adoption papers.

"Sign. These.-" She was cut off by shadows coming together to form Hades.

"Not yet my dear." He said and she pouted as Raven turned back to normal.

"Olympus giving you trouble? I'm sure I could nuke it if you want." Raven offered smiling as he adjusted a bow tie.

"As much as the thought brings me pleasant thoughts, there are a few who don't deserve it and the chaos it would cause." Hades said and Raven hummed in understanding as he let the glowing mass in his hand disappear and returned to adjusting the clothes.

Together, the three looked like one unhinged family.

It wouldn't be wrong.

"So I was expecting you two in the underworld, not here?" Hades asked and Raven chuckled nervously

"I may or may not have nuked a small part of the underworld when tossing a ball of energy in my hands. I'm not sorry." Raven admitted and Hades sighed.

"At least tell me it was uninhabited?" He asked and Raven glanced at Persephone.

"It wasn't, but only some troublesome souls." She said with a small giggle as she remembered that scene.

"Oh well, it could have been worse." Hades sighed before he joined in on the clothes fest.

The employee would have been sweating nervously, but she was under a mind control spell. Not a thought in her head.
