I sat there and watched as the two people I cared about the most stood in front of me and laughed at how easy it was to betray me. how it took nothing because I would have never suspected that they would do something like this. well they're damn right about that part, after everything I did for them they betrayed me as if it was nothing. If it was not for me that stupid child would not be sitting on that throne or maybe I was the fool for helping him sit upon that throne knowing how unworthy he was, but still like a blind bat I did so anyway, all because I couldn't let the memory of my dead younger brother rest, I mean you'd think after all I've been through with dying and coming to this world I'd let go of such ignorant bliss but no I had to keep on pushing now look at me sitting next to these two fools dying by poison.
(Maya's pov)
I looked at the person dying of poison annoyed at how he still looked like he was 20 years old. While my age was showing even though he's older than me, even though I used the most expensive and top rated skin products, I was the one who looked like his older sister. I can't wait till that bastard dies.
(Hunters Pov)
"W-why would you d-do this?" I asked, coughing up blood.
"Because everywhere we went it was hunter this and hunter that, do you know how annoying it is to hear people say, :don't mess with him because duke Collerdawn considers him his younger brother, I never get any recognition but once this is over they'll have no choice but to recognize my talents, and fear me as their king. Oh and also-" He turned around and laughed coldly before smirking. "I only resembled the person you think of every time you see me just because I look like him doesn't mean I am him."
I bite my lip knowing all too well that he's right about that, but these fools have no idea what's coming and I'm just biding my time waiting for him to get closer. Most of the dukes And duchesses agreed with Zane's Decision and the ones who didn't were killed on the spot. I remember every single one of their faces including the ones that died sticking up for me.
'It's time to get started.' I thought to myself as I stood up and walked down the stairs. None of them see me as a threat. Have they forgotten that I'm a master martial artist, not to mention my magical talents once I descended down the last step I Unsheathe my sword and it was an all out killing spree. I sliced everyone that stood before me. Those two cowards ran out the door at the first sight of blood along with a bunch of other dukes and duchesses.
Once everyone that was still in the room was dead I walked back up those stairs and sat on the throne waiting for her to appear. The leader of my hidden Guardian team Nina appeared beside me. She was always loyal to me. She thought of me as her family but I never thought of her as mine when I should've. She is clearly wounded, I could tell by her posture she normally stands straight but now she is bending her knees and leaning forward a bit. I have many regrets.
The throne room doors burst open "he-he's here." I Smiled weakly. Nina looked at me and shook her head while smiling when she realized what I did. "y-you follow him after I 'cough' d-die." I say coughing up blood. Nina opened her mouth in Retort but nothing came out instead she nodded accepting my wishes. The man had made it to me by the time I finished telling Nina my last wishes for her. "W-what happened." he asked, placing his hand against my cheek. His hands were so warm I unknowingly rubbed my cheek into his hand. He rubbed his thumb across my cheek looking at me in my light violet eyes. "So y-you made it f-finally 'cough' I t-thought I was going to die…with how s-slow you are." I laughed a bit before coughing up blood. "sorry I'm so late." He says smiling.
(Ethans pov)
I looked at the dying man who I've been waiting to meet for years, the one who made my life so hard and yet so interesting. I stared into those Beautiful violet eyes wishing I had gotten here sooner.
"Young master we found these two trying to escape through the back entrance.'' One of my men said, drawing my attention away from Hunter's beautiful violet eyes, the moment I saw who they were, an anger I never felt before welled up inside me. I unsheathe my sword and immediately I had them both on their knees in front of Hunter. At first I was going to let them live a normal life under surveillance of course because I knew how much Hunter cared about them. Zane and Maya were their names if I'm not mistaken but after what they did to him, to the person I fell in love with. They might as well say their last words no one hurts the people I care about and gets away with it.
"W-wait don't kill us please." Maya cried out
"Brother, please don't let them kill us." Zane pleaded
"Oh. so now he's your brother." I said glaring daggers at them. "it's up to you." Hunter says coughing up more blood and with that I beheaded the two people he cared most about.
(Hunter's Pov)
Ethan quickly walked over to me, bending over his now blood stained face so close to mine I could feel his warm breath against my lips, he closed his eyes pressing his lips to mine kissing me me. My eyes widened but I couldn't help but enjoy it . He pulled away and smiled. "promise me in our next life you'll follow me, kay love?" he says, kissing my forehead. It's just like him to make the situation more dramatic than it already is. I smiled nodding my head gently. "I p-promise." I said before my consciousness slowly began drifting away until there was nothing but darkness.

I was surrounded by darkness. All I could think about was that kiss. Maybe it's how he says farewell to people who die. I thought to myself trying to come up with any excuse to brush it off as nothing. As I was thinking about many things a blue mist wrapped itself around me like a snake before going into my mouth. My insides felt like they were on fire. I squeezed my eyes shut and gritted my teeth to keep from screaming. I thought I was being possessed or something but once the pain stopped and I opened my eyes I was transparent and floating around.
"Am i a ghost?!" I say out loud knowing no one would answer me. I was just floating around peacefully until I came across a drunk Ethan. I floated closer and watched him, 'he's crying. Why is he crying? He just took the throne.' I thought to myself. I floated around him for a bit asking him question after question before finally giving up.
(Alex Pov)
"Your highness, if you stay out here any longer you'll catch a cold," I say, sympathetically.
"Why'd your brother have to go and die like that huh?" Ethan asked hiccuping.
"I…. Don't know," I say, biting down on my lower lip. His brother never cared about his family; he let them be destroyed by those other noble families without even shedding a tear. To me my older brother was a heartless bastard.
"He didn't even let me tell him that I 'hiccup' love him," Ethan said crying silently.
(Hunter's pov)
"you what?" "How, no, when did that happen?" "All I can ever remember us doing is plotting against one another. How the heck did you fall for me?" "From what I know we've never even seen each other until the day I died." But of course I said all that in vain because he can't hear me.
"I'll come back in a few minutes to get you your highness." Alex said before walking away. Once Alex was gone Ethan spoke up again. "I promise I'll never love anyone other than you, and I'll do right by your people." he said aloud "i love you Hunter Collerdawn." he whispered softly before getting up and walking away. He left a half empty jar of whine. Too bad I'm a ghost because I could use that about now, I thought to myself sighing, wait can ghost sigh, whatever. I thought to myself floating to the table sitting down.
Back in my past life I was poor and I knew what hard work meant so I always wanted to help the people here in this world. but I got so caught up with the 4th prince and the throne I didn't have much time to help them. I'm glad he took the throne and is doing everything possible to clean up my mess.
(One week later)
One day when I was floating around an older lady came up to me and called my last nam name "Collerdawn." I looked around for a second to see if there was anyone else but there wasn't. There was only me and her "yes." I say looking at her "My name is Konima and I'm here to help you. you have a power inside you known as the king's soul. Both you and Ethan possessed a part of the king's soul. It was fated that one of you would take the throne and the other would stand by his side-." "Wait, wait, wait so you're saying me and Ethan were supposed to be together. how does that work first off if one of us became king wouldn't we need descendants." I asked cutting her off
"That's the funny thing about being fated for each other. It means nothing is impossible," she said smiling "Um… I'm gonna pretend you didn't say that okay."
"I will return soon, and remember there are 2 people who should live no matter what. so please protect them. A 4 year old named rider and a 6 year old named Zion look after them with love when you come across them." She said, seriously. "So basically you want me to babysit them for whatever it is you're going to do. sure why not, not like I have anything better to do." I say shrugging.
"Good. then let me awaken the power inside of you." She says, once again there's a blue mist flowing around me, but this time it's lighter than before and instead of my inside being torched there is a warm calming feeling and a nice scent of fresh spring air.
When I open my eyes again everything seems clearer. It's like I can feel what the trees, animals, and dirt feel, heck even the water.
(A few years later)
I experiment with my new powers while also sticking to Ethan for a few years, flicking pebbles at people who irritate him is fun. Sometimes I go off by myself in an open area and use more of my powers so that I don't hurt anyone. I'm able to command animals to do as I say, like yesterday when one of the dukes I wasn't able to kill last time showed up at the castle, I had a dog pee on his shoe and a bird pop on his head. It was hilarious. But it depends on the size of the animal and how long i'll be controlling them for, it's very exhausting to use this power but with practice comes perfect.
Today I followed Ethan around like normal. He's going to the throne room to address the matters of heirs.
(Ethan's Pov)
I walked through the throne room doors and took my seat on the throne. "What's the problem," I asked, annoyed with all these bastards. I wish Hunter was here to tell me who helped the second prince so I could kill them.
"Your highness we are here today to address the matters of your herm," the Duke says nervously. "I told you that I won't marry anyone who isn't Hunter Collerdawn." I say practically growling.
"Yes but it's preposterous how will you have an heir with no wife no herm no anything.'' Duke carvont cried.
"That's right, we are not asking you to love this person just to make an heir." Duke semal said pleadingly.
"I'm not fucking anyone and no one is fucking me unless it's hunter Collerdawn." (Ethan said coldly)
"One last thing your highness, there was a marriage proposal sent by the king of zularin. He wishes to have you and his younger sister Fraya marry, and we've been considering saying yes."
(hunter's pov)
'Ops y'all made him angry now' I thought to myself as I floated around watching everything unfold. Too bad there's no popcorn to go with the show I thought to myself.
(Ethan's pov)
"For the last time I'm not marrying, fucking, or being fucked by anyone unless it hunter collerdawn. If I have to repeat myself one more time I'll kill you all, is that understood!?"
"Y-Yes your highness."They all said in Union as they quickly exited the throne room.
"Those stupid fat, skinny, and chubby perverted assholes. you don't have to love them, just make an heir. The one and only person I'll let touch me is Hunter. That's it, that's all. I'll die a virgin for all I care."

"No comment." "But…um you do know that there's going to be a war now, right?" and just like I stated there was a war.

"I'll make that bastard my slave then he'll have no choice but to love you my dear sister," Colton said, rubbing his sister's cheek with his hands. "Thank you big brother you're amazing." Fraya said giggling.

I watched as Ethan mounted his horse to go to war. "be careful your highness." Alex said with a worried look on his face. "Hey, if I didn't know any better I'd say you're trying to make this man go back on his word." I say, annoyed he can't hear me. "I'll be fine." Ethan says not sparing him a glance. "Ha, in your face little brother I win. I may be dead but I still win." I say floating around laughing.
"Hunter." whispered Ethan. "If you can hear me right now, Just know I'm holding up my end of the bargain so you better be doing the same. I miss you so much, I wish you were here with me. I'd give anything to be held in your warm embrace." he whispered with a sigh. I blushed as his sentence came to an end. "what kind of stuff are you thinking of in that brain of yours!?" I asked, blushing deeply. 'Deep down inside I wanna hold you against my chest and listen to you complain about any and everyth– wait what no, no, no, pushin it down, way down!' I thought to myself as I called zuma, she's my bird friend. "Do me a favor and give this to him." I say, handing her a beautiful pendant.

"You probably can't get into contact with me but this pendant is for you." I say, dropping a jade pendant with a wolf carved into it in the pond. "I miss you, Hunter," I say before walking away.

(Ethan's Pov)
I heard the chirp of a bird as I rode my Horse to the battlefield. the bird landed on my shoulder. there was something in her mouth she seemed eager to get out. I put my hand out to the bird slowing my horse down into a slow trot causing the whole army to slow down as well. I know most of my warriors were thinking, 'who the hell slows down on the way to war that bad for our morale and for a bird at that. The bird dropped a beautiful jade pendant with a wolf carved into it in my hand. I smiled and gave the bird a few rubs on the head with my thumb. She chirped happily before flying away.
"Thank you hunter, I love you," I say, putting the pedant in a safe place before grabbing the reins of my horse and speeding up.
(hunter's pov)
"I…I…. Care for you too." I say not able to say I love you back. After Hunter left things were pretty boring. There wasn't much to do so I went around learning as much as possible about medicine pills, teas, herbs, and so on. I had a lot of knowledge from my last life about medical stuff because I went to college for it and 1 other thing. I got a scholarship for 2 of them but the ones I didn't get a scholarship for I worked day and night to pay for. I took as many scholarships as I could because I wanted to get a well paying job to take care of my sick little brother, but in the end he still died, and all he wanted was to spend time with me but i was too busy with all my work and school that i didn't get a chance to say goodbye.
back to what I've been up to. I learned as much about future medicines, teas, products, magic, martial arts, weapons, runes, crafting, hair, make up, shoes, sewing-fabric, magic weapons, ink, paper any and everything that could be useful, i mean now that i'm no longer going to be in good graces with royalty gotta find a way to make that bag anyway i can.. with the help of my animal friends I could turn the pages. I also studied more about my powers and practiced martial arts books old and new. My animal friends were good at finding old things and I knew where a bunch of ancient relics, treasure, magic books, martial arts books and many more things were hidden. I was prepared and I had it all memorized. But I was kind of neglecting Ethan ever since I checked on him after the war. I've been caught up with this which I'm pretty sure made him sad so today I'm going to visit him.
I floated over to Ethan who was sitting at the table near a pond. I floated next to him and watched as he rubbed the pendant "I miss you love." he said, tearing up. "I miss you too," I said, wishing I could hug him. "I know you're there and I just wanted you to know that as the years pass I never forget just how handsome you were, and how beautiful your cold yet warm violet eyes looked at me that day. I wish I could see them every day when I wake up and every night when I go to bed." "Your emerald green eyes are just as beautiful." I say smiling sadly. 'I really do wish I could hug him when he cries.'

I look at the 70 year old dying Ethan. He still looks the same as the day I first saw him. "I'm sorry Nina but we've tried everything, he's going to die soon." Said the imperial doctor "B-but Hunter…..he…I promised to serve him he can't die before me!" "Please…leave me alone." Ethan asked weakly. Nina and the doctor obeyed his orders leaving him there alone. "H-hunter, if you're still here with me these are my last moments. Please be patient with me in our n-next life and don't forget your promise. H-hunter I l-love you now and al-always….," he said before his eyes closed and his breathing ceased. "I-I care about you Ethan," I say as a single tear sheds from my eye. I didn't think ghosts could cry, I thought to myself.
"Alright then." I heard a voice say before darkness surrounded me a blue mist, the darkest shade I've seen flows into my mouth setting my insides a flame, it felt like I was drowning on air, as I squeezed my eyes shut. "don't forget what I've asked of you." I heard konima's voice ring inside of my head. When I opened my eyes I was in a forest laying on a rock with a bad head injury, but i couldn't feel a thing, i remember where i am though in the past when i first came to this world i was on the run from some assassins I didn't know so naturally i thought they would help me find out where i was and who i was, not this time though. It was just my luck that it happened to be spring when I first arrived in this world. I stood up and ran, ran like I've never ran before, it's not because I was scared but because I happen to know that Ethan will be coming through this very forest. In my past life when zane and the royal guard found me we had a run in with ethan and his crew, as I was running an arrow flew past my head nicking my ear.
"Shit…" i whispered taking a turn, i fall sliding down a hill, i stood up and began running again i felt a sharp pain run up my leg as i ran i must have sprained my ankle, i keep running through the pain no way in hell am i dying because of a sprained ankle i ran in different direction and i circles to throw them off my trail, I finally made it to a clearing, i stop to catch my breath slumping against a tree, i've calmed and so has my adrenaline which isn't a good thing, "i think i'm in the clear for now." I sighed looking up at the sky, but just as I looked up an arrow swished through the air hitting me in the arm, "Ugggh." I groaned, spreading my fingers, placing my hand on my shoulder.
"Shit." I say. I'm too exhausted to run but I can't give up. I made a promise. I thought to myself, biting my lower lip, i use the tree to push myself up straight, turning around but as soon as i turned around i was surrounded by assassins.
