Steve life as a S-class rank 3 was still the same, nothing really change. Many people would shock and would run to him like a zombie horde when he go out to complete some missions that the Hero Association sent him but that's rarely happens as he rarely go out of his house. You can't blame him as he was content with his life for now. But he was still waiting for some action that might come to this world.
They didn't celebrate Steve promotion to rank 3 after a few days because Steve thought that it was just a normal thing for him but when Rhena knows about it, she immediately tell Steve that she will make many dishes for him today.
And of course, Steve agreed to it as he knows that there will be alot of food and also Rhena would be able to experience a celebration for the first time. Steve also gave invites to Saitama and Genos to make it more fun.
What about Rhena appearance? You may ask. Rhena already transformed into a human female after continuously sucking absorbing the human female blood that her mosquitos sent to her. The only traits that her mosquito form left was her wings that she could hide inside her back anytime and also her ability to control countless mosquito with a thought.
Rhena human form was a beautiful one. She kept her short white hair and extremely white skin which even if she don't wear a make up, her natural appearance alone stomp all the beauties that Steve has seen in his past life and also in this life.
Currently, Rhena was wearing a white dress with long skirt which is covered by the apron as she was still cooking. The aroma of what she's cooking brought Steve towards her and so, he wrapped her arms around Rhena waist and his chin on her shoulder as he glance to the food she was cooking. Steve smile before commenting on her work.
"You really know how to make me stand up and hug you."
Rhena also smiled as she felt the warm body of Steve wrapping her body.
"How many days, weeks or months has it been since I met you? We have gone to a stranger to what we are today. And because I love you and know how much you eat, I always try to improve my cooking."
Hearing that, Steve couldn't help but hug her more tightly as he kissed her cheek many times. However, as they are having such a lovely time, someone had ring their doorbell.
With the mosquitos outside, Steve already knows that it was Saitama with Genos behind him carrying a plastic of what it seem a beer for them. He carefully opened the door before smiling and greeting his good friend.
"Welcome Sai!"
Saitama was a little bit long thus Steve decided to shorten it. Saitama didn't mind it and greeted him back as they clash their hand.
"Congrats for promoting!"
"Congrats."
Genos nodded at the back.
After a short greetings, they then entered inside. Immediately after entering, Saitama nose was hit with many aroma in which he couldn't help but said his thoughts out loud.
"This smell is so good! I'm always jealous of what I'm smelling on your house as it enters my room but now. . . I can finally taste it!"
The three then sat down on the floor as they started preparing the beers on the table. Then they started talking about many things in the past as they waited for Rhena to finish cooking.
Eventually, Rhena was done cooking and she then prepared it to the table. The three friends on the ground was just there, staring at the foods on the table with menacing eyes like they were looking at their prey.
Thus, the small celebration started after Steve gave a small speech followed by a beer toast.
