Victoria, Malia, and the police are all in a tense situation. Malia tries to take the bracelet from Victoria, but Victoria refuses to give it to her. The police arrive on the scene and try to handcuff Victoria.
A female police officer comes in and eventually handcuffs Victoria in a way that causes her pain. But Victoria couldn't feel any pain, so she had no way of knowing if the female officer was treating her roughly or not.
Penny and Adrian rushed towards Victoria, hoping to intervene on her behalf. "Please, she's not a thief!" Adrian pleaded with the policewoman. "She's not that kind of person!" Penny chimed in, tears streaming down her face.
Kodi, who had been watching from the crowd, stepped forward as well. "Please, officer, you have to believe us," he said. "Vicky isn't a criminal. She would never steal anything!"
The three were pleading with the officer, hoping to convince her to let Victoria go.
