Snowball purred happily and nudged Isabelle's chin affectionately, enjoying his nap while nestled beneath her blankets and lying beside her. He was drifting in and out of sleep - his purr cutting out when he'd fall asleep, then firing back up whenever he'd wake again.
It was quite a cute little display, easily mesmerizing in its own strange little way.
She hadn't actually meant to fall asleep.
She wasn't trying to re-enact Marie Antoinette but with flooding.
