Chapter 104 - Chapter 103: Desperate Rush Against Time, Part ??????

664 10/11 3:11 (Autumn, Day, Midrar)

Sabel stepped forward, her blade flashing all around her so that her Light-Attribute could harmonize with and then deflect the Human-Spirit's Shining Bolts attack away from herself, taking advantage of the resonance between the same Attributes helped out by her current sword's ability.

It was part of a disposable Set created by Luna based on her Familiars, each of them a simple, semi-mass producible Artifact that called back to some aspects of her Familiars, this specific sword having been made based on Blitz, more specifically its Magnetic Amplification Skill.

And by using together her own ability to manipulate light thanks to her Light-Attribute Sorcery and the magnetic ability of her sword, she was able to manipulate the Shining Bolts sent at her just enough to deflect them away from herself, protecting herself and trying to maximize the efficiency of her movements.

Even with all of her advantages, the Human was unable to escape completely unscathed, the Lightning-like Light-Attribute launched by Joule-Mark being able to leave behind small stratches and cuts on her arms, her blood starting to stain her clothes and the ground around her.

Despite this, Sabel maintained her cool, breathing regularly and showing no trace of pain on her face as she, full of determination, continued on in her fight, starting to predict the directions of the falling beams of electricity.

Sabel smiled, her teeth gleaming as she reached into her ring, pulling out a copy of her sword, Luna having created under her request multiple copies for most of her swords.

The magnetic distortion around her distorted and twisted, her opponent's lightning being drawn in and then deflected away from her and starting to bounce between the two, forming a long connection of Light-Attribute that she condensed before firing it back at its origin, intent on disrupting histheir balance and in thsi way ending the Spell early.

The bolt constituted of the Composite Attribute between Light- and Lightning-Attributes erupted forward, crossing the distance to and then striking its origin right in the chest, sending himthem flying back and giving herself enough time to recover from her wounds using Vital Energy, burning a good chunk, before subtly changing one of her swords with an identical-looking copy with a different ability.

Without giving Joule-Mark any time to calm down and stabilize themselves, the black haired one dashed forward, light vaguely following her trail to distort her exact trajectory.

Her swords rose enveloped in the Light-Attribute before slashing down, twin blades of light being projected to form a shining diagonal cross that would have slashed apart the blonde, if this last one didn't flip himthemselves upwards at the last moment.

Joule-Mark landed on histheir feet, flickering slightly, before hethey used their Time Walker to give himselfthemselves enough time to calm down, stabilizing their Spell and returning to a more stable situation by using the full five seconds afforded by the C-Rank.

Their eyes opened, returning to their more blank expression and preparing to fight and judge things properly, Shining Bolts flaring brightly around their body, wounds and bruises being rapidly healed by their expert use of Vital Mana, lightning flaring and then raining down on their vague position, forcing the Human to retreat as there were plenty of differences between deflecting aimed strikes at someone's position and strikes intent on destroying a whole area.

Clicking her tongue, the black-eyed one merely held her swords more firmly, giving up on her previous tactic to stall and deciding on just going all out right from the start, aiming on dealing as much damage as quickly as possible, her trump card ready to be unleashed once more at a moment's notice.

Unaware of the fact that her own Aura was fully surrounding her body, enhancing her combat-ability greatly but also straining her.

Luna's eyes beholded the not-space she now found herself in, her eyes able to see nothing at all and not because of a lack of light but the lack of anything existing at all

The only thing that she could see was the only source of light present, the long line that split the far away horizon in two, thing that could not be ignored thanks to the sheer luminosity contained within its thin path.

Turning around, she was able to confirm that the line formed a perfect cycle around her, a stroke that severed the infinite world in two perfectly equal halfs.

"Hm…" Her eyes moved to underneath her, stomping down casually and being able to confirm that underneath her was a solid layer with no give and upon a much stronger kick, she was able to confirm she would be unable to simply break it, especially considering how she couldn't feel her Vital Mana and none of her Skills were active.

She licked her lips, her eyes narrowing in focus as she fully concentrated on her own Soul, feeling the area around her starting to shake and in this way confirming that while she was her consciousness, her Soul was split between herself and the whole world around her.

"In this case, there is one thing left for me to do." Her will rained down upon the whole place, space starting to shake and distort as she ordered her Skills to activate despite being unable to sense them.

And in response to her command, she felt nothing change in her consciousness herself but was able to confirm their activation through instinct alone, turning her sight first towards the roof of the dome to find it unchanged, a still and endless void, before lowering her eyes to underneath herself.

The floor she was upon was a mirror that didn't reflect everything exactly, as demonstrated by the lack of her own body and the now present and brightly glowing stars in the sky in locations that did not present them in the sky over her.

"I see. I suppose this is my conscious while the one underneath is my subconscious. And I guess that my Skills appear in the mirror alone in the forms of stars." She confirmed her theory by shutting off all of her Skills, consequently causing the stars to vanish before starting to activate and deactivate her Skills one at a time, memorizing the location of the star and which Skill they were correlated to.

Once done, she started working out where exactly the stars would be if they were present in her layer of the world, judging their brightness and size in comparison with the Rank and Potency of the Skill they were related to, guessing their rough position.

And then she called down her will on the theoretical locations of a specific group of stars, grabbing them and slowly pulling them together, her eyes carefully scanning their reflections to make sure she grabbed the correct stars and, after a couple of false starts derived by errors in her assumptions of the various distances involved, she was finally able to pull them close together enough for her plan to succeed.

This place was a physical rappresentation of her Soul after all, it was only natural that its laws would be intuitive for her to understand and apply in this situation.

Once she confirmed the position of each and every single one of her Skills in this fake sky, she turned her attention towards the mirror beneath her feet, straining her eyes in the direction of the star correlated to the Skill Familiar Summoning, willing herself to see more.

And in response the glow of the star intensified even further, finally reflecting the six planets that orbited the star, each of them different in size and form and corresponding to one of her Familiars.

After a nod, her eyes moved to the star related to her Oath Making Skill and started to strain her Soul itself even more, finally being able to grasp the position and locations of her four Oaths, the crystal-like satellites orbiting the star.

Finally she smiled directing her gaze all around her, finally concentrating on the real reason behind her search as she forcefully manifested into this place all the matter her black hole devoured, directly pushing them into the star itself, forcefully finishing her analysis on the Water-, Light-, Holy- and Curse-Attributes in an instant.

Her attention was on the star itself, judging what changed in it as she forcefully strenghten it before nodding satisfied at her discoveries.

Space trembled, shaking, as her will turned around on herself, grabbing the star from the theoretical location in her own side and pulling it to herself, surrounding it completely and then finally starting to compress it, more and more, until the star was reduced to a small sphere that could be held in her hand.

Heat washed over her for far less than an instant before Luna's will crushed it in its entirety, leaving her unharmed and holding a star in her hands, one of her stars, leaving it free for her to analyze.

The Lunarian did not hesitate, looking deeper in the star before judging the world outside and the star alike by separating it in the nine Attribute, using the eight she already well understood to trace the shadow derived by the absence of the ninth, figuring out its nature.

Her hold solidified as she finally let go of the star, having finally and fully grasped all of the Attributes before turning back to her original plan and reason behind this lenghty process.

Her star joined the others in the sky only briefly before all of them were being pulled in various directions.

"I have too many Skills and am being split towards too many directions. It's time for me to compress them." She smiled, her will firming even more.
