As they got closer, Gizon jumped at Izuku, while Izuku activated his repulsors and rushed forwards with the same amount of force. At the last second Izuku jumped up at Gizon, causing them to crash in mid air. Gizon had his legs extended out and met Izuku outstretched fist. The impact caused a shock wave to generate and would have been bigger if Gizon hadn't begun to absorb the recoil.
Yet now Gizon didn't have anything to brace himself against to hold his ground, so Izuku won the clash. As if throwing a shotput, Izuku withdrew his arm back and then pushed Gizon back. But Izuku was quickly after him, wrapping his arm around Gizon's midsection. Izuku crashed into Gizon but didn't let up and continued to fly towards the wall.
Sensing and knowing that they were flying towards the wall, Gizon began to try and feet himself, as he could easily be embedded into the wall and it was require much of the energy he had stock up to break free. Gizon first tried to ram his elbow into Izuku's bad, right at the tip of the shoulder blade as Izuku had learn that worked best. Yet as Gizon's elbow hit, he knew he had hit the nerve often referred to the funny bone, as his entire arm got the pins and needles feeling. Gizon grimaced, of course Izuku's armor would be too thick for an unarmed attack.
With that in mind Gizon clasped his hands together and a yellow biblical light appeared around it, and he began to bring it down on Izuku's back. But in that moment Izuku suddenly let go of Gizon and the panels around his armor opening up, slowing him down dramatically. Yet Gizon maintain his momentum and the next second he crashed into the wall and the air was forced out out of his lungs before he could being to absorb the impact.
Gizon looked up and saw that Izuku had stalled in the air, by the look of it by using those panels on his sides and legs as some sort of air brake. But before gravity took the whole Izuku shot forwards and punched Gizon in the chest. The impact traveled through Gizon and into the wall, causing a crater to form which Izuku pushed Gizon deeper into. Gizon could barely get in breath before Izuku punched across the jaw, then in the gut, then a kick to the groan. Each attack was followed by a hot blast from Izuku's repulsors. And it seems Izuku was using his improved mobility for all that it was worth.
After a few more attack Izuku let off the attack for a second. Allowing Gizon began to slump forwards but the his arm shot out and his caught himself before falling out of the crater, "Is that the best you can do." Gizon then raised his head and looked at Izuku, "It's nothing compared to Todoroki's fire."
Gizon couldn't get a read on Izuku's facial expression due to the mask, but the rest of his body language told Gizon that comment had stung a bit. Izuku's response; rushing forward and wrapping his hands around Gizon's threat as if he was trying to choke him out. Gizon began to feel heat building up from Izuku's repulsers.
"You can't handle heat too well. That comment might have made anyone think it's no issue for you." Izuku said, looking up at Gizon, their eyes meeting despite the glow from within Izuku's helmet, "But I have an eye for detail. You have no issue if there isn't that much, but even your quirk can become overwhelming. And you can't attack with that strength without pulling that energy away from healing. And the human body will always prioritize healing over attacking."
Gizon could feel the burns from earlier were healed but his neck was still suffering. He tried to grab Izuku's arm and pull them away. But he didn't have enough strength, and he could feel the energy of quirk slowly draining from keeping his neck from becoming too burnt. Izuku was right the moment Gizon withdrew his quirks' energy away from healing his neck could become severally damaged. But Gizon was no stranger to pain, he could withstand the heat while he forcibly directed his quirk's energy to his arm to attack.
"You could always forcibly stop yourself from healing, but then you have to ask yourself: Can you attack me before I carbonize your throat? It's hard to heal cells when they're dead. It's hard to stop an attack that has already reached its target." Izuku said.
Gizon looked at Izuku, the glowing eyes and the faceplate were giving have a menacing vibe. All too similar to Iron Monger. And Gizon knew he was screwed. Even with the small amount of energy he had left, if he withdrew it from Hyper Regeneration and passed through Force Multiplier. But by the time he got it back to Hyper Regeneration and Energy absorption, Izuku could have very well carbonized his neck. But if Gizon did nothing then his his quirk's energy would run out, meaning he won't be able to heal and Energy Absorption would not be able to handle the heat coming from Izuku's hands
So that meant Gizon needed to go something.
Gizon looked at Izuku in the eyes, as smoke started to rise from the space between Izuku's hand and Gizon's neck. A good sign Hyper Regeneration was starting to run out of energy, it was struggling to heal Gizon's skin as quickly as it got burnt and soon it would be out. And Gizon could feel pain coming from his neck and it was becoming harder to properly breath.
"Then I guess I'll have to improvise." Gizon said, as he forced the pain to the back of his mind. He brought his legs up and planted them against Izuku's chest. His natural strength wasn't enough to force Izuku back, and normally Gizon could have used Force Multiplier to add more force behind the initial attack. But this time Gizon was using Force Multiplier with its original abilities.
Izuku felt Gizon's kick and could tell they weren't that powerful, but then a warning appeared. Yet before Izuku could read it, the impact he had felt became doubled. It wasn't much but it was enough, that despite Izuku using his two of his repulsers he was forced back. And just enough for Gizon to drop down to the ground.
As Izuku tried to figure out where the secondary impact had come from, Gizon snuck behind him and grabbed him by the back of the neck. Gizon then put his entire weight into slamming Izuku into the same crater he had just fallen out of. Izuku's forehead hit the front of the helmet and he could tell his forehead had been cut. Izuku tried to push himself out of the crater, but then Gizon returned the favor and applied pressure to keep Izuku in place.
Izuku tried to plant his hand against the wall and pushed himself out. But seeing this Gizon pulled Izuku out a bit, then slammed him back into the wall, "You aren't getting out that easily."
Seeing how that wasn't going to work, With some effort Izuku pulled his arm back and planted his open palms against the wall. Seeing this and hearing the hum of Izuku's repulsor, Gizon quickly stepped back. The stimulus blast of energy and loss of resistance, cause Izuku to go flying back. Yet before he could catch himself, Gizon grabbed his leg and pivoted. Izuku swung around and was thrown back into the wall.
This time he was forwards facing, allowing Izuku to see Gizon rushed in for a punch.
"Analyze." Izuku commanded. But before Jabisu could, Gizon got in closer and threw a hook. Izuku blocked, but Gizon quickly absorbed the recoil and redirected into his next punch.
"You've got some kind of program that knows my moves. Analyzing my movement and showing my most likely next move. That is a good thing to have, but there is a difference between a program and experience." Gizon said, as he punched Izuku's head into the wall. Izuku weakly brought up his left hand and tried to blast off a heated blast but Gizon noticed. He grabbed the hand and used it to pull Izuku out of the wall. Only to spin around and throw Izuku, causing him to hit the wall again, but this time had an angle, causing him to go sliding across it.
As Izuku hit the ground, Jabisu spoke, "Sir, he'll move too fast. Positioning his body so that his moves appear erratic, too unpredictable. I can't get a handle on his move until the last second."
Gizon then rushed Izuku, gripping the armor covering his chest so tightly that it started to bend inwards. With Gizon hand near the arc reactor, energy absorption began to siphon off the Energy from inside of it. Gizon noticed and absorb the energy he could, even if id made his hand feel completely numb. Gizon then redirect the absorb energy to heal his neck, then once that was down, increased his strength, allowing him to lift Izuku and slam him against the wall, "Experience is something a program can never predict."
Gizon then took off running, dragging Izuku across the wall, digging a trench using his body. Izuku tried to ride out the damage his armor was taking from being dragged against the wall. It was impossible to get his hands or feet into position to push off against the wall.
"Sir the integrity of the armor covering your back is quickly decreased. If this continues, soon your back will be exposed." Jabisu said.
"And then horrible road rash, got it." Izuku said. He knew he couldn't push off from the wall, and if he could Gizon would most likely just slam him back against it. So that option was out and likely was going deep into the wall, that would get him even more stuck. And Gizon could plow through anything Izuku did to try and force himself to slow down or stop.
That left speeding up as the other option.
Using a small blast Izuku forced his right hand away from the wall and grabbed Gizon's hand, "You're right Hisahito. Experience trumped my program, so I guess I'll have to do the same. I'll trying improvising something new."
Gizon looked at Izuku, just as the other three of Izuku's repulsers hummed and he took off, his back still against the wall. At first Gizon tried to keep up but Izuku's speed far outpaced what he could achieve at the moment. So Gizon tried to stop. He planted his feet, digging a deep trench, until he stopped. Yet Izuku didn't stop as using Gizon as an anchor, Izuku pivoted away from the wall
Acting fast Izuku shot up into the air and pulled Gizon along within him.
"It seems that with everything you can do, you still can't overcome gravity." Izuku said as he started to spin around in the air, ready to throw Gizon down towards the arena again. But then Gizon did something unexpected, he shoved his hand into the small gaps between the chest plate and the arc reactor. Gizon then closed his fist around the device.
"I noticed something about your quirk and a quick text to Yaomomo confirmed it. You can't discharge all that electricity coursing through your body, you have to use this device to power your suit." Gizon said, then started to pull the arc reactor out as green electricity started to jump to the device and absorb into Gizon's arm. As his entire arm went number, Gizon had to concentrate to keep his hand closed, "So I fall, you fall. But I'll be the only one getting up."
"Sir, Hisahito is disconnecting wires, boot repulsors offline." As Jabisu spoke Izuku felt the repulsers within his boot give out. This cause the two of them to begin to fall, so Izuku quickly let go of Gizon, but not without first boxing his ears. This was enough for Gizon to let out of the arc reactor and fall away from Izuku.
As Gizon hit the ground, Izuku used the two repulsor in his hand to catch himself, increasing their output to 40% to prevent himself from crashing into the ground. As Izuku landed and stumbled a bit, Gizon picked himself up and jumped at Izuku. Izuku raised his arm to defend, but Gizon didn't let off. He continued to throw punch after punch, many of them landing as Izuku was not able defend against his opponent's speed.
"Sir right hook now." Jabisu said. Izuku didn't know whether Jabisu meant to defend against a right hook or throw one, but Izuku's body responded on its own.
Gizon hadn't seen the right hook coming, he thought he was overwhelming Izuku with too many attacks that the support student won't have been able to get one in. As such Gizon wasn't prepared to absorb the kinetic energy and was forced back. As Gizon regained his balance, he felt some blood pool up his mouth. He then felt something land on his tongue. Realizing what it was, Gizon pushed the object up to his lips and then spat it out along with some blood. The blood hit the ground first, but then a tooth landed in it.
Gizon knew that was going to be painful to regrow that, as he had done so multiple times in the past. Dismissing the tooth Gizon looked at Izuku and said, "Luckily shot, let see if your luck holds up."
Izuku didn't get the chance to make a comment, as a yellow biblical light surrounded Gizon. The hero student then rushed forwards, and planted a left uppercut into Izuku's chin. Izuku was forced into the air and Gizon followed suit. Once Gizon was above Izuku, he clasped his hand together and made a hammer fist into Izuku's back.
As Izuku fell to the ground, he let out two quick but powerful bursts from the repulsers in his hand. This allowed Izuku not only to catch himself but get out of the way of Gizon's descent. As Izuku landed he turned away and watched as Gizon fell. The moment Gizon's feet hit the ground, the yellow biblical light grew brighter and Gizon dashed at Izuku.
Before Izuku could form his next thought, Gizon planted a sucker punch into Izuku's guts. "Your suit is strong and a marvel, but like I said, this is as far as you go." Gizon withdrew his hand only to thrust into Izuku's chest again, "You shouldn't leave your weakness so out in the open."
Izuku's eyes fell to Gizon's hand, as his fingers were trying to brush against his arc reactor. If Gizon pulled that out, then Izuku would be stuck in the suit, unable to move, unable to fight. Could he be taken down by such an action as simply plugging a power cord out of its outlet. He won't be able to do anything, his quirk has become as useless as the day he had first gained it.
Every pro hero had a weakness, didn't know how small or how little it affected them, every pro hero had one. But it didn't matter if their weakness was known or targeted, the best of best pushed past it. Push the pain, the disadvantage upon their weakness put against them.
Yet could Izuku do the same. The only way to use his quirk's bioelectricity was through the arc reactor. If that was gone, no matter how much Izuku pushed he won't be able to power his suit. And the emotional overload would just be even worse, his suit still won't be powered and he would slipe into a temporary coma. Izuku had a big weakness and he couldn't push past it.
As Gizon's finger closed around the arc reactor, Izuku felt as if Gizon was closing his fist around Izuku's actual heart.
Maybe in the future Izuku could find a way around his missing arc reactor. But he wasn't in the future, he was in the present. And the best he could do was make sure his weakness was never used. And he would use the weakness itself to make that never happened
"Sir, with the state the arc reactor is in, that could overload the arc reactor." Jabisu warned.
"I don't care." Izuku said, as he felt his quirk siphon into the arc reactor and the build inside of it, "UNIBEAM!"
Gizon's eyes felt wide as he felt electricity build up inside the arc reactor, so much that in an attempt to absorb it, Gizon's entire arm immediately went numb. But even through pins and needles, Gizon could feel the heat coming from the arc reactor. The next second all that energy was pushed out in attack, pushing Gizon's right hand out of Izuku's chest. Gizon grimaced as he felt his entire arm be burnt. He stumbled back and clutched it against his chest. The sound of meat sizzling and the smell of smoke hit Gizon and it made him a bit nauseous, only the pain coming from his right arm kept him focused.
"You're right, Hisahito, that might be my weakness because I can turn it into a strength just as quickly as you turn your opponent's attack against them. It was a weakness I've had ever since I gained my quirk. It was so bad that it made me give up on my dream to become a hero. I couldn't overcome it, I still can't. But I can work around it and I'll continue to find more ways to do so. I gave up on my dream once, but never again." Izuku said as lightning jumped across his eyes and the blue lights of his suit turned green, "I'll win this fight. I'll become the first support student to win UA's Sports Festival. I'll forge a path through all the mistakes of my past, and overcome any challenge in my path. And I'll be seeing you in class!"
Izuku yelled as he charged forwards and swung a right punch. Yet at the last second Gizon caught the punch, using his right arm. Izuku looked at the burnt limb, then saw the burnt skin slowly falling off, only to reveal new raw skin underneath. "You burnt one of my favorite gloves." Gizon said in a voice that more fitting of a villain than a hero in training. He was going to really miss that glove.
As Gizon spoke Izuku saw the tooth that he had punched out regrow. Izuku knew Gizon's had regenerative properties. Yet to the degree to regrow a tooth, something that didn't ever regrow, so quickly. Gizon then got in close and spoke in a low voice, "Sentiment, it's nice. But don't think you're the only one trying to out pace your past…."
Gizon drew back his left fist, the yellow biblical light appeared as if it was condensing and becoming trapped under his skin.
"Or running from it." Gizon said and then planted his left fist against Izuku's chest and pushed hard for the follow through. Several warnings went off in Izuku's eyes and ears, then the next second he was sent flying back and hit the wall again. Gizon slowly walked up to the edge of the platform, "Let's see how far your sentiment is able to take you."
Izuku pushed himself out of the wall, while Gizon jumped down towards him. At the last second Izuku stepped to the side, allowing Gizon to fly past him and into the wall. Before Gizon could pull himself out, Izuku was against his back, heating up his palms again.
"That same trick." Gizon said, then rammed the back of his head into Izuku's helmet, "Won't work again." As Izuku stumbled back, Gizon got off of the wall and then rushed Izuku. Izuku brought his arm up to defend, but Gizon pulled out a new move. He sidestepped and then jumped at Izuku. He then slid his leg between Izuku's arm and his chest, He then hooked his leg around them and then pulled them down.
With Izuku's arm out of the way, Gizon rotated his entire body and rammed his right knee into the side of Izuku's helmet. Izuku was forced to the side, while Gizon landed on his feet.
"Sir, helmet at 45 percent integrity and that is the highest for any piece of your armor." Jabisu notified.
"So I'll have to end this quickly." Izuku said, as he raised his left arm to block an attack.
Seeing this Gizon switched his punch to grapple and grabbed a hold of Izuku's left gauntlet. He then ripped it off, pulling off the glove and majority of the forearm armor, leaving a few metal bracers and wires in place.
"Left arm compromised." Jabisu warned.
"Yeah I noticed." Izuku said, as he tried to punch Gizons, but the hero student caught the punch. Gizon then closed his hand, crashed the armor covering Izuku's right forearm. Gizon then stepped back and then jumped at Izuku, planting an uppercut against the support student's chin. Izuku was sent flying upwards and landed on the edge of the platform. Izuku nearly spat out blood and bile as he got onto hands and knee, the cement cold against his left hand
"Suit integrity at 5 percent." Jabisu warned. Meaning Gizon's attack was about to get through. That's why Izuku's inside felt like they had been rearranged.
"Come on, you said you had other surprises in store. But all you've shown is disappointing." Gizon said as he walked across the grass to the platform. Iron Monger had fought to the end, even if their end was pitiful and came about by Shigaraki. Yet that villain continued to fight, claimed he would continue to fight. Even with a short sight goal in mind, the villain continued to fight. If Izuku was the same person, then it was a more meaningful, long term goal, he would push himself even further.
"You're right, I do have something left. Sadly it isn't dramatic or flashy, but something I've learned as a inventor of support equipment. Something doesn't have to be a show stopper to be effective." Izuku said as he lifted his upper body to a kneeling position, "I'll leave that belief to my classmates."
Izuku held out his closed right fist, aiming at Gizon. Gizon braced himself for whatever Izuku had planned. This was the same support student that had made the suit he wore, the same geniuses that had made Momo a full pair of augmented reality glasses in less than a week. Even if it wasn't as showy as a pro hero's ultimate move, it was bound to be effective. And Izuku had designed it with Gizon in mind.
Gizon then noticed a small slot open in Izuku's forearm. It wasn't large, from the look of it a japanese yen won't even fit. Then the sound of air hiss like it was coming from a paintball gun reached Gizon's ears. Yet nothing came out, almost comedical in nature that Gizon almost laughed.
"Damn it." Izuku cursed. Gizon had destroyed the armor of his forearm too much. It couldn't properly get out of the way to shoot the weapon, "Jasbisu prepare it again."
"Sir, the result will be the same." Jabisu said.
The armor couldn't move, so Izuku was just going to remove it entirely. Grabbing the crushed armor of his right forearm, within his bare left hand, Izuku began to pull. He shocked his left hand so it would stay closed, while the exoskeleton over his left arm did its best to pull off the armor. With a yell Izuku ripped his left hand away, holding onto the armor.
Izuku aimed his right arm at Gizon agin, the wireframe and exoskeleton on display for the world to see, "Fire!"
The sound of hissing air sounded again and this time Gizon spotted a small black projectile, no bigger than a school eraser flying towards him.
Izuku must have learned that Gizon's quirk didn't do too well against small projectiles like a bullet? Even if he had, Gizon could heal from a bullet wound and there was only one projectile. Gizon could almost laugh, but then the small black projectile broke into four pieces. And from the casing a large net expanded out.
Out of surprise, Gizon failed to move in time, allowing the net to not only reach him, but wrap around him. With much effort Gizon managed to stay up right, and began to push against the net. Gizon felt the net stretch as he pushed against it, but the moment he stopped pushing the net snapped back to its original size. Gizon quickly grabbed two strands that were close to each other and pulled them apart, even using his quirk's strength to do so. Yet whatever material it would make out of, it won't tear or deform. Gizon let go of the net and the two strands snapped back into place as if it was some kind of rubber band.
"What is this stuff?" Gizon said as he had even resorted to biting the net and trying to cut it with his teeth.
"It is a special in house made material. Made out of rubber from H. Braziliense tree, copper and Kelvair. Meaning it can be stretched to any degree humanly possible and still retain its shape. Meaning you aren't going to be getting out of it any time soon." Izuku said as he got onto his feet, though it was obvious he was exhausted and his suit was running low on power.
On the standsall the teachers were impressed. The biggest way to defeat a brawler type pro hero like All Might or Gizon was to prevent them from attacking. Villains throughout the era had tried different ways to prevent such pro heroes from attacking, hostage, distance, booby-traps and the like. Even ways such as tying them up with ropes or metals, yet pro heroes with super strength found it easy to escape such capture. But it seems Izuku had come up with a way to hold a brawler in place.
Yet while the teachers of UA were analyzing this, the principal was enjoying himself a bit too much watching one of the strongest students to ever come to UA act like a wild animal while he attempted to free himself. There weren't many pro heroes that were willing to lower themselves to bite their opponent unless their quirk dealt with their jaw, which in of itself was rare.
Gizon bit down on the net again and then grabbed the stand under it. He then pulled the string tight and pulled his teeth back. But it was like Izuku had said, the net snapped back into place, Gizon couldn't even see bite marks.
"Your quirks allow you to absorb different types of energy. From what I've seen, Kinetic is the easiest for you. Then it is electrical, and the hardest for you to absorb is thermal energy." Izuku said, looking down at Gizon, who in turn was looking back up at him, "And it seemed that the two things you can do with the energy is heal yourself, or pour that energy into your strength. Allowing you to use your opponent's own strength against them. But you're only a real danger if you can land an attack.
"And if you're all wrapped up in something and can't move, then you can't throw a punch."
The yellow biblical glow returned and Gizon tried one last time. He pulled two strands apart, even absorbing the potential energy they held from wanting to snap back together. Gizon managed to pull the strand apart until he made a hole big enough to fit his head through. But that won't be enough.
"Hisahito, are you able to continue fighting?" Midnight asked. If he wasn't then Izuku was the winner and the triple crown as Present Mic had called it. The first support student to survive past the first round of the third event, the first support student to become a finalist in the third event, and the first support student ever to win the Sports Festival as a whole.
Gizon looked at Izuku. He was right, Gizon didn't have any kind of quirk that had an external factor. His only means of attacking were his own hand and feet, and if he couldn't throw a punch or kick then he couldn't do any damage. And none of his secondary quirks would help him escape.
"But that not all." Izuku said, as he used his right gauntlets to rocket down at Gizon, using a short burst in his boots to catch himself, "All quirks have a limit." Izuku grabbed hold of the net and pulled Gizon up into the air with his left arm. Then using his right gauntlets and his damaged boots, Izuku flew up into the air, "Meaning there only so much energy you can hold, before it start to get through."
Gizon's eyes went wide. Sure he could expended energy to heal himself, but for cuts and bruises that didn't require much energy. And a fall from this height would give Gizon a lot more energy then that. Moreover the blasts from Izuku's repulsors gave even more energy. Izuku could easily cause Gizon to hit his limit without any way to expend more energy than he was getting. And once that happened Izuku's attack were going to get through.
"So let's see what your limit this." Izuku said as he stopped right under the height limit and dropped Gizon.
Even with the wind whipping passed Gizon, making it hard to see he could see Izuku was preparing his next attack. Gizon saw the light from Izuku's arc reactor building. Green electricity started to spark out from Izuku's chest and disappear in the air. In the suit Izuku could feel the heat building in front of his chest. Gizon's had damaged the limiter on the arc reactor, it was siphoning more from Izuku's quirk that he had meant for. In the heat on the moment Izuku didn't care, he had come to far to accept anything then total victory. He would take what he had made and show it off to the world. Prove that he deserved to be in the hero course, that he deserved the chance to show that his quirk wasn't useless.
A warning appeared in the side of the HUD but Izuku paid it no mind. This attack was likely going to fry the arc reactor, so he had to pour as that he could into it. Make Gizon hit his limit and that push past it. Izuku had to win. Their entire lives Kacchan fought for total victory, and he had achieved it multiple times before, now it was Izuku's turn.
Izuku saw the green electricity sparking out of his chest, but he didn't care. He started to feel faint so he bite the inside of his check, the pain giving him some focused. He had come to far to falter to such lowly weakness. He had worked, fought, prepared everyday to a moment like this. Bakugo had pledged that he was going to win the Sport Festival. But now it Izuku to show his pledge. To show the world that is wasn't the quirk that matter but the heart behind it. He might be late to the starting line, but Izuku had be playing catch up his entire life, and he wasn't ready to stop.
Izuku crossed his arms as the electrical buzz in his chest continued to build. He was done backing down from a fight. He was done letting other walk over him. He was done letting himself and other call his quirk useless. And now he was ready to use the power he had created and become a pro hero. Izuku took a deep breath as he uncrossed his arm and from his the depth of his soul yell, "Unibeam!"
A large hum echoed through the stadium, then a loud big bang shot out.* A beam of energy as big as a log shot out of Izuku's chest and rocketed down towards Gizon. The beam of energy Gizon and forced him down into the arena. His screams couldn't be heard over the sound of the unibeam, but Gizon could feel his quirks filling up with energy.
The net had been burned away soon after Unibeam hit, but the force behind the attack locked him in place. Gizon could feel his shirt burn away and his skin began to boil. Hyper Regeneration did the best it could but the heat was overwhelming and Gizon could not absorb all over it. Gizon held his arm to try and defend against the act. This allowed him to get his feet around him and he began to stand up, but he felt like Atlas holding up the sky. The weight coming down on him was unbearable. He could feel his bones starting to bend like a plank of wood under too much stress.
Yet as fractures appeared along his bones and skin, Hyper Regeneration healed Gizon. Unibeam kept him in place, while Hyper Regeneration keep him form passing out. Gizon looked up at the light, and while it was blinding he could feel Izuku staring down at him. A support student who wanted nothing more than to prove to the world that he could be a hero. Well he wasn't the only one. Except Gizon wasn't trying to prove it to the world, he was only trying to prove it to himself. To forsake the name of Asa Pakusu, to right the many wrong of the past.
To do that Gizon had to get his name know, to have people rely on him. So he could be a hero.
"I'm not finish." Gizon yelled as he focused Force Multiple into his right hand, the golden biblical glow appeared around his right hand, fighting against the bright white light of Izuku's attack. Yet what Gizon failed to noticed that as the glow around his right hand brighten, the black scar over his heart start to grow. It's sharp edge on its top shot out like tentacles, reached up Gizon's chest and starting to wrap over his shoulder, "I stand my ground here! To fight for what is right, for what needs to be do! To forget my past and control my destiny."
Gizon yelled as he pushed his right fist up, fighting against Unibeam. It felt like Gizon was having to punch several metal wall, but his fist soon reached it range and Gizon poured all his energy into his right fist to push back Unibeam. Another loud bang went off** and the world went quiet. Gizon's attack had cancel out the Unibeam and Izuku's arc reactor had broke, his suit was running on emergency power.
Izuku looked down at Gizon, the hero student a bright red as if he had a nasty sun burn. Yet there a deep golden glow in his eyes as he stood his ground, "Is that all you've got!"
Izuku yelled as he activated his three repulsers, as high as they could go and shoot down at Gizon. Yet Izuku didn't see Gizon, it was all old and current his classmates, his old teachers, everyone who ever said he couldn't make it as a hero. He was going to face them and he was going to punch his way through. He was going to become a hero.
Izuku shot down and punched Gizon across the jaw with his left fist, causing Gizon to spin around and fall to the ground, "I've been beaten down, had my feet pulled from under me, talked down to and made a mockery of! But no more, I'm done running away, I'm done giving in! Even if I have to do by force. " -Gizon began to pick himself up, but then his arms gave out and he almost fell to the ground. The only reason he had was because Izuku grabbed Gizon's neck. but then Izuku then slammed Gizon against his knee, hitting the hero student right between the eyes- "I'll make this MY HERO ACADEMIA."
Gizon's world went white form the hit and he could feel his conscience starting to slip. He tried to keep himself awake, but he couldn't stop the closing of his vision. The only sensation he could feel was the burning of his black scar over his chest, but now that pain was also radiating from his left shoulder. Then with one last breath Gizon fell unconscious.
"Vitals are low sir." Jabisu said.
"No I can still fight." Izuku said.
"Not yours sir. His." Jabisu sand Izuku looekd down at Gizon, "Vitals indicate Gizon Hisahito of Class 1-A has fallen unconscious. You have won."
"Hisahito. Midoriya." Midnight called out. Izuku stood tall, to show he was good, "Hisahito!" Yet Gizon didn't answer, the of realization that and what it meant slowly dawn on Japan. All the cameras there were still functioning focused on Izuku and as everyone's jaws dropped, Midnight continued in an astonished but hollow slow voice with, "Izuku Midoriya of Class 1-h, the support course has done it. He has won UA's Sports Festival. Izuku Midoriya of class 1-h has become the first support student in UA history to win the Sports Festival."
Midnight's voice echoed through Izuku's ear. He had won, he had beaten Gizon Hisahito of Class 1-A, he could be transferred to the hero course and become a pro hero. "Sir emergency power gone. Suit powering down." Jabisu said grounding Izuku to reality.
"What no." Izuku said as the light went out in his suit and the exoskeleton froze in place.
"Thank you for tuning in." Present Mic said then did the signal to cut the cameras. Powerloader pulled out a button and pressed it, then all the lights on the cameras went out and they turned off. Yet the image was burned into everyone's mind. Izuku Midoriya standing there, suit of armor broken and destroyed yet still the one standing victorious over the the hero student that was predicted to win.
"Ms Seiten. I've have Hounddog escort you off campus." Principal Nezu said as Hounddog suddenly appeared behind Ms Seiten.
As Ms. Seiten left with HoundDog, the teachers and Principal rushed down to the field, with medical droid closely following behind. The droid lifted Gizon on the a stretch and then took him to Recovery Girl's office, with Midnight following them.
"You have been one surprise after another Midoriya. You have made history multiple time since coming to UA." Principal Nezu said.
"Thank you." Izuku said, thankful that Gizon ripped the faceplate off early or it would be been hard to talk through it.
"However, despite your victory your transfer will not be immediate. While this has given you have a good head start, there are a few more milestones you need to reach. Yet with how you are progressing I'm sure you'll be able to reach them by mid term exams." Principal Nezu said.
"Wait, what?" Izuku said. He figured this would have been his golden ticket.
"Make no mistake, you will transferred, yet the expectation between the support course and the hero course are more further apart than the north and south pole. So it be how quickly you progress that decide when your transfer occurs." Principal Nezu said.
Izuku wanted to drop his shoulders, but his suit kept him in place.
"Come on, Midoriya. You've done what you've set out to do today, lets get you out of that suit and over to Recovery Girl's office. then you can rest up for the weekend. You've done good" Powerloader said and he began to walk away, as Izuku smiled as it felt good to see someone say that. Especially someone Izuku held in regard like Powerloader. Yet there was one issue.
"Huh, one problem. I can't move. My arc reactor overload and my suits not getting any power. The exoskeleton is locked into place." Izuku said.
Mr Aizawa sighed while Present Mic chuckled. Powerloader shook his head and used his phone to order some droid to come and pick Izuku up and take him to classroom 6-G.
