"Thank you for your kindness, but I'll be fine staying at a hotel."
The old lady continued, "You must not know where the hotel is since you're new here! I know of a very nice hotel just up ahead. It's very close to where I live. Come on! I'll take you there!"
Ni Yang followed behind the old lady, who chattered endlessly along the way.
It was clear that she had really been holding back!
After arriving at the hotel, Ni Yang planned to have a good sleep to recharge for the cooperation talk with Mrs. Lillian the next day.
Eleven o'clock the next morning.
Ni Yang arrived at the cafe they had agreed on beforehand.
By the time she got there, Li Dai, Henry, and Lillian were already there.
"Mr. Henry, Mrs. Lillian, Mr. Li," Ni Yang greeted politely, as if she had already forgotten the unpleasantness with Li Dai from the day before.
"Miss Ni," Li Dai handed a neatly organized file to Ni Yang, "this is the contract, take a look."
