I know a lot of people want the next chapter, but I have a problem, and luckily I have a solution; unfortunately, it is somewhat detrimental to my plans. So, I've had a pretty shit 9 and a half weeks. Back-to-back illnesses, and for about 2 weeks, I should not have gotten out of bed and hopped on the bus; that was legitimately traumatic.
Anyways!
I'm a little burnt out on Kellian Ordo, but that's entirely what's holding me back with this fic. We've got a new update coming for SWTOR, and my interest in that is high right now; hopefully we can punch that dickhead admiral in the mouth. Which brings me to my solution. I figure we'll do this in two halves. We shelve that first chapter for now and the one in my drive folder, and we start in SWTOR completely independent of the main story or near enough, then at some point, we fast-forward to the MC's descendant (Kellian). It'll fuck up some of the plot I had planned for the original plan, but here's the kicker... the descendant has all his ancestors' memories, personality, most of his skills, and to top it off, they're basically, or actually I should say literally, the same person; the Force just decided to give him two chances at a better life. A second chance as someone with minuscule Force Power, and a third as someone who gives Anakin a run for his money.
Now I could do these as separate fics, but I personally find the idea of putting all that work in one life only to wake up 3600 years or so later quite the interesting plotline. So you have the options as follows:
Option 1, is we do them separately, and I can't promise when my burnout ends. I mean, Jord has been burnt out for nearly three months, and I don't want that to be me with this fic. Option 2, I use that high interest in SWTOR and merge the two fics with SWTOR being however many countless chapters of a prelude to the Clone Wars.
If we do option 2, just estimating the combined total based on the original expectated chapter count of the original Kellian fic on top of the estimated chapter count for the SWTOR fic... we're looking at potentially at least seven or eight hundred chapters minimum.
I'm going to be doing SWTOR at some point anyway, so let me know if you want me to bridge that into Kellian Ordo.
