________

After exiting the Azure Dragon Eye Tower, Ye Feng made his way to the academy library, intending to find a Saint Weapon Condensing Method suited to him. Only then could he condense his own saint weapon to attempt his breakthrough into the Saint Realm.

'Teacher Li explained that the academy library contained numerous saint weapon condensing methods and urged us to find one that suited us, as this was essential for successfully condensing our saint weapons.'

Ye Feng decided to heed Teacher Li's advice and head to the library.

Ye Feng was eager to condense his saint weapon and break through into the Saint Realm. With only a small amount of energy left to absorb, he was already on the verge of beginning the process.

Even if he failed to break through into the Saint Realm on his first try, there would still be countless chances to attempt in the future.

It was all thanks to the rank-three monster core he obtained as the prize for becoming the freshman competition champion.

With the vast energy stored in the rank-three monster core, he was certain he could finally break through into the Saint Realm no matter how many attempt he needed to make to finally make his break through.

_______

As Ye Feng walked toward the library, he noticed Fu approaching calmly, a smirk playing on his lips. Puzzled, Ye Feng tilted his head, unsure why Fu was smiling at him.

'Has something good happened to him? Why is he smirking like that? Well, it doesn't matter—it's not my business anyway.'

Fu stopped in front of Ye Feng and pointed his finger at him while he kept smirking. " I challenge you to a fight right here, and right now, let's go."

Ye Feng tilted his head in confusion again. "Huh? Why should I fight you? And why do you even want to fight me?" he asked Fu lazily. Fu almost toppled over at the sheer nonchalance in Ye Feng's tone.

Fu then started yelling at Ye Feng in disbelief. "Where is your pride, man? You're the champion of the freshmen competition! If I want to become stronger, I have to fight those who are stronger than me. And you are definitely stronger than me—after all, you've reached the second level of the pagoda, while I was defeated on the first level."

Ye Feng's eyes danced with amusement as he smiled and nodded at Fu. "Fine, you've got a point. Let's head to one of the fighting arenas and fight there."

With a wide grin, Fu shouted, "Yeah, that's the spirit! Let's go!" Together, he and Ye Feng made their way to one of the academy's fighting arenas.

_________

In The Fighting Arena

Fu and Ye Feng faced each other in one of the academy's fighting arenas. Nearby students immediately recognized them, and as soon as they realized a battle was about to break out, excitement rippled through the crowd, their eyes fixed eagerly on the two combatants.

They began placing bets on who would win. Most of the students sided with Ye Feng, though a few placed their wagers on Fu.

News of the upcoming battle between Ye Feng, the champion of the freshmen competition, and Fu, who had placed third, spread through the academy like wildfire.

Excited by the news, students flocked to the arena to witness the battle.

Even Ye Long and his two friends hurried over as soon as they heard about the upcoming battle in one of the fighting arenas.

Zhang Wei was among the students who had come to watch the battle. As he waited patiently for it to start, he thought, 'Show me whether you truly deserve the title of freshmen champion, or if your victory was just a matter of luck.'

Some of the academy staff also became intrigued upon hearing the news, so they decided to come and watch the battle between Ye Feng and Fu.

Unnoticed by anyone, a figure hovered high in the sky, wind whipping fiercely around him. He waited patiently for the fight to begin—it was the academy's headmaster, Chen.

______

With Ye Feng and Fu

Fu's eyes sparkled with excitement; he was eager to battle Ye Feng. Stretching his body in preparation, he asked, "So, how are we going to do this?"

Ye Feng smiled at him. "Simple," he replied. "We haven't condensed our saint weapons yet, so it'll be hand-to-hand combat."

Fu's grin widened, and he gave a confident nod.

Fu lunged at Ye Feng without a hint of hesitation, unleashing a flurry of punches and kicks. Ye Feng deftly dodged several of the strikes, while the ones he couldn't avoid were met with firm blocks. With each punch or kick he stopped, the force pushed him back a foot or two, making him slide across the ground slightly from the impact.

Ye Feng decided to coat his arms with his saint force, just as he had done with his sword when fighting the puppets in the pagoda. Instantly, a bright blue cloud coated both of his arms. Now, when Fu's strikes came at him, Ye Feng blocked them effortlessly. He no longer slid backward from the force behind the blows—his saint force completely neutralized the impact, leaving him steady and unharmed.

Fu's frustration grew as Ye Feng effortlessly blocked every strike. In a burst of impatience, he unleashed punches and kicks faster than ever, each blow carrying more force than before. Yet, no matter how swift or powerful Fu's attacks became, Ye Feng continued to block them with ease, just as effortlessly as before.

__________

With the onlookers

All the students watching the battle were stunned by how one-sided it had become. No matter how fiercely Fu attacked, Ye Feng blocked every strike with effortless precision.

Zhang Wei clenched his fists at the sight of Ye Feng's talent and strength, yet he couldn't tear his eyes away from the battle.

The academy staff were impressed by Ye Feng's talent and the effortless way he used his saint force to counter Fu's natural advantage of an innate strength constitution.

The headmaster watched calmly from above, nodding in satisfaction at Ye Feng's performance. He had expected this—after all, he knew just how talented Ye Feng truly was.

________

With Ye Feng

Ye Feng gave a small smile as he continued blocking Fu's strikes. Then, suddenly, he began moving around Fu, his footwork fluid and precise.

Ye Feng moved with breathtaking speed and agility, circling Fu like a predator assessing its prey. Without warning, Ye Feng launched a flurry of punches from every direction. Fu struggled to keep up, his defenses faltering against the unpredictable assault. In a blur, Ye Feng's strikes landed relentlessly, and Fu was sent crashing to the ground, the impact harsh and unforgiving.

_________

With the onlookers

All the students' eyes widened in shock, Zhang Wei included. Meanwhile, the academy staff could not help but become more impressed with the extraordinary talent Ye Feng was showing them.

The academy headmaster chuckled as he watched Ye Feng effortlessly dominate Fu in their battle.

'He's applying the experience he gained in the pagoda here—truly incredible.'

_______

With Ye Feng

Ye Feng pulled away slightly, maintaining a safe distance from Fu as he readied his next move.

'Father always told me during our training sessions that I needed to be one with the sword—that it must become a part of my body.'

A smile curved his lips as an idea flashed through his mind.

'What if I use my right arm as a sword?'

Amused by the thought, Ye Feng shifted his stance, assuming the very posture he always used when wielding a sword.

Fu stood, his body tense as Ye Feng assumed his sword stance. Blood trickled from the corner of Fu's mouth. He spat onto the arena floor, then wiped the blood away with the back of his hand, his eyes narrowing when he saw Ye Feng's stance.

_________

With the onlookers

Everyone watching the battle was confused about why Ye Feng had changed his stance, but they remained silent and continued observing the fight.

High in the sky, the headmaster smiled at Ye Feng's sword stance, curious to see what he was planning.

_______

With Ye Feng

Fu lunged at Ye Feng again, raining down a relentless flurry of punches and kicks.

Ye Feng coated his right arm with a bright blue cloud of saint force and began wielding it like a sword, parrying every punch Fu threw. Then, seizing any opening, he countered with precision—thrusting and swinging his right arm like a blade, striking Fu relentlessly.

Fu was struck repeatedly, collapsing to the ground over and over. Blood spurted from his mouth, staining the arena floor, yet each time he rose again, unyielding, refusing to surrender.

_______

With the onlookers

The onlookers were impressed by Fu's tenacity and fighting spirit. The headmaster and academy staff smiled as they watched him rise again and again, no matter how many times he was knocked to the ground.

The academy headmaster began to regard Fu with newfound interest and respect.

_________

With Ye Feng

Ye Feng smiled at Fu, his voice steady. "You really are impressive. You've earned my respect. But now, it's time we finish this battle."

Ye Feng began circling around Fu again, but this time, instead of throwing punches, he swung his saint force coated arm, striking Fu multiple times before delivering a sharp chop to the back of his neck.

Fu's eyes rolled back, and he collapsed to the ground, unconscious, after Ye Feng's strike to the back of his neck. The crowd erupted into a roar, cheering wildly for Ye Feng's victory. He offered them a small, modest smile in response.

_______

In the Fighting Arena

One of the academy staff jumped into the fighting arena. Grinning at Ye Feng, he said, 'Impressive battle! No wonder you made it to the second level of the pagoda. Let me introduce myself, kid—I'm Yun Han, one of the instructors at the academy.'"

Yun Han appeared to be in his thirties. He had a lean, muscular build, with long blond hair tied back in a ponytail, striking green eyes, and a fair complexion. Standing at five feet tall, he wore the academy instructor's robe, giving him a composed and authoritative presence.

"I can see that you have a lot of talent with the sword. If you ever need advice on swordsmanship, look for me," Yun Han said with a smile.

Ye Feng smiled at Yun Han, cupped his fist, and nodded. "Thank you, Instructor Yun. I will keep your offer in mind."

Instructor Yun nodded in satisfaction, then picked up Fu and carried him to the medical bay.

Once Instructor Yun departed, a crowd of students surrounded Ye Feng—Ye Long and his friends among them. They spoke animatedly, praising him for his win. Ye Feng responded with a warm smile, shared a bit of small talk, and soon excused himself, making his way to the academy library.

Zhang Wei narrowed his eyes, watching Ye Feng leave, anger and jealousy burning fiercely in his gaze. With a cold snort, he turned around and walked away.

The academy headmaster smiled down at Ye Feng from the sky, then rode the wind toward the medical bay.

'An interesting battle', he thought. 'I should offer Fu the chance to become my disciple. He may not be as talented as Ye Feng, but his heart is exceptional.'

________

The Academy Library

Ye Feng entered the library and saw several students quietly reading or discussing books among themselves. Near the front desk, an old man sat alone, engrossed in an ancient scroll. His face was lined with deep wrinkles, his head completely bald, and a long gray beard flowed down his chest, giving him an air of age and wisdom.

Ye Feng approached the old man. Sensing his presence, the old man raised his head and smiled warmly. "How may I help you, young one?"

Ye Feng cupped his fist and said respectfully, "Elder, I'm looking for saint weapon–condensing methods. Teacher Li mentioned in class today that the library holds many such techniques. May I trouble you to help me?"

The old man continued smiling as he turned toward a beautiful young lady around Ye Feng's age, who was quietly browsing the shelves nearby. "Little Rou," he said gently, "would you mind helping this young man?"

The girl turned toward the old man before looking at Ye Feng, a gentle smile appearing on her lips. Ye Feng couldn't help but feel captivated by her beauty. She nodded to the elder and replied, "Sure thing, Grandfather."

Rou then turned back to Ye Feng and smiled politely. "Please follow me."

Ye Feng did as she said and followed her.

Rou was an extraordinarily beautiful young lady—so breathtaking that her beauty alone could bring a nation to its knees. Her long blond hair cascaded down her back like a golden waterfall. She had cherry-red lips, a delicate and exquisite nose, graceful brows, long lashes, and a slender neck. Her face was refined and elegant, as if it had stepped straight out of a masterful painting.

Her figure was equally captivating: full, rounded plump breasts, a slender waist, and long, graceful legs that accentuated her feminine charm. Her skin looked impossibly soft, smooth as silk. Even her academy uniform struggled to conceal her curvy, alluring form, instead outlining it in a way that made her presence impossible to ignore.

Ye Feng followed Rou and told her that he was searching for saint weapon condensing methods. She nodded in understanding and led him to a tall bookshelf. Stopping in front of it, she said, "All the saint weapon condensing methods available in the library are here. Good luck."

Ye Feng smiled and thanked her. After Rou left, he turned to the bookshelf and began carefully browsing through the scrolls and books before him.

_________

With Ye Feng

Ye Feng browsed through the bookshelf and discovered numerous methods—there was the slow method, the one Li Cheng had used to condense his saint weapon, the compressing method, the heavy method, the controlling method, and many others. With so many options, it was overwhelming, yet Ye Feng's attention focused on only three: the slow method, the soul method, and the bending method.

Ye Feng picked up the three books containing the three methods, then went to an empty reading desk and sat down to study and memorize them.

'To use the Soul Method, a cultivator must possess a strong soul. By harnessing the power of their soul, they can manipulate the saint energy within their body and condense it into a saint weapon.'

Ye Feng continued reading the Soul Method, carefully memorizing every word with unwavering focus.

After memorizing the Soul Method, he picked up the book on the Bending Method and began to read.

'Using the Bending Method, a cultivator must first gain control over the saint energy within their body before skillfully manipulating it to shape a saint weapon.'

Once he had finished memorizing the Bending Method, Ye Feng picked up the final book and started to read.

'Using the slow method, the cultivator must patiently control, contain, shape, compress, and condense the saint energy into a saint weapon step by step.'

The more Ye Feng read, the more fascinated he became with the Slow Method. He then carefully memorized every word in the book.

After memorizing everything in the book, Ye Feng stood up from his seat, left the library, and returned to his dwelling.

________

In Ye Feng Dwelling

Ye Feng seated himself in a perfect lotus position and closed his eyes. Resolutely, he decided to employ the slow method to condense his saint weapon and break through into the Saint Realm. Carefully, he retrieved the rank-three monster core from his storage belt and began to calm his breathing, steadying his mind in preparation for the breakthrough.

After steadying his mind, Ye Feng began absorbing energy from the rank-three monster core, pushing himself to the brink of breaking through the barrier between the Saint Force Realm and the Saint Realm. He drew a deep breath, his thoughts focused and unwavering.

'Now, I hope I can successfully break through on my first try,'

Ye Feng then absorbed a bit more energy from the rank-three monster core, pushing himself until he finally breached the barrier.

A powerful aura filled the room—a clear sign that the breakthrough into the Saint Realm was underway. Ye Feng gritted his teeth and began following the Slow Method instructions to condense his saint weapon. Carefully, he started controlling the saint energy within his body, and then, step by step, he began condensing his saint weapon.

Ye Feng began sweating profusely from the strain of controlling the saint energy within his body, but he refused to give up and pressed on, determined to condense his saint weapon.

Ye Feng focused his saint energy, shaping it into the form of a sword. He began compressing the energy with painstaking control, and at last, his efforts bore fruit—his saint weapon was successfully condensed.

After successfully condensing his saint weapon, a powerful, untamed aura erupted from Ye Feng, flooding his entire dwelling. It was wild and fierce, like the presence of a beast poised to pounce on its prey at any moment.

"CRACK, CRACK."

Unnoticed by Ye Feng, the walls of his dwelling began to crack like a spiderweb, and in an instant, the entire place exploded into countless fragments of rock.

"BOOM."

The nearby students were terrified when they heard the explosion. They rushed toward the source, only to be stunned to see Ye Feng sitting in a lotus position, cultivating as if completely unaware of his surroundings.

Even all the academy instructors, along with the headmaster, arrived at the scene after hearing the explosion.

They were speechless when they saw Ye Feng cultivating as if nothing else in the world mattered.

Chen didn't know whether to laugh or cry at Ye Feng. He carefully examined Ye Feng first, then looked at what was left of his dwelling.

'Could his breakthrough to the Saint Realm have caused such a disturbance? Even if that were the case, it didn't make sense. I had never heard of—let alone witnessed—someone creating this kind of commotion before, especially someone with weak cultivation like Ye Feng.'

Chen sighed tiredly the more he thought about it.

'I'll talk to this kid later. First, I need to clear everyone from here.'

Chen faced the students and gave a dismissive wave of his hand.

"You've all seen enough. Leave this area immediately."

The students began grumbling at Chen's order, but the moment they caught sight of the stern looks from the headmaster and the academy instructors, they quickly started leaving.

After the students left the area, Chen turned to face the academy instructors.

"All of you, leave now. I want to have a private chat with this kid."

All the academy instructors nodded respectfully, cupped their fists toward Chen, and obediently left the area.

After the academy instructors left, Chen sat cross-legged on the ground and let out a sigh.

'Kid, you're causing me a lot of trouble. Cut me some slack—I'm not as young as I used to be.'

_________

After 15 minutes

With Ye Feng

Ye Feng took a deep breath, steadying himself as his beast like aura gradually faded. A satisfied smile spread across his face at his success. Rising to his feet, he reached into his dantian and summoned his newly condensed saint weapon.

When Ye Feng opened his eyes, a bead of sweat formed on his forehead as he saw his dwelling reduced to a pile of small rock fragments. In front of him, Chen sat cross-legged, smiling amusedly at his reaction.

"Kid, I think you owe me an explanation. Why did you destroy your own dwelling?"

Ye Feng was momentarily speechless at the question, unsure whether to laugh or cry.

He rubbed the back of his head in embarrassment and replied.

"Headmaster, when I went back to my dwelling to break through to the Saint Realm, everything was intact. After I succeeded, the place was completely destroyed. I honestly don't know how the hell it happened."

Chen remained silent after hearing Ye Feng's reply, recalling the powerful aura Ye Feng had emitted while immersed in his cultivation, and sighed inwardly.

'The aura felt as if a beast were emerging, yet it was weak—perhaps the kid had destroyed his dwelling unconsciously.'

Chen then looked at Ye Feng seriously and said.

"Listen carefully, kid. According to the academy's rules, you must pay for every bit of damage you caused to academy property. I will contact your father and report this incident."

Ye Feng sweated nervously upon hearing this and spoke.

"But I didn't do it?"

Chen stood up, a laugh of amusement escaping him as he took in Ye Feng's nervous expression.

"This is how things work in this academy, kid. Your dwelling wasn't damaged when you arrived, and no one attacked it—so that means you're the one who destroyed it."

Ye Feng stood frozen for a moment, then sighed and nodded.

"I understand headmaster."

Chen smiled in satisfaction and continued.

"Later today, I will send someone to guide you to your new dwelling. Make sure you do not destroy it. If you do, the punishment will be severe."

Chen then turned around and started walking back towards his office.

Ye Feng's saint weapon was a sword four feet long and two fingers wide. The blade was crimson, like the colour of the blood. The sword doesn't have a guard, and the sword handle is gold in colour and in the shape of an angry dragon.

He decided to give his saint weapon a try. He stored his saint weapon in his dantian, and then he stored his rank-three monster core in his space belt. After that, he exited his dwelling. Ye Feng started looking for an empty training ground to give his saint weapon a try.

_______

Training Ground

After finding an empty training ground, Ye Feng summoned his saint weapon, and he smiled when he held his new sword by the handle and said, "It is perfect." Ye Feng started swinging his sword vertically and horizontally multiple times. He smiled widely and kept swinging his sword. "My saint weapon is perfect." Then he started making combinations by swinging and thrusting his sword in the air.

After Ye Feng finished his little sword combination, he brought his saint weapon in front of his eyes and said to his saint weapon, "What should I name you?" He thought for a second, then smiled when he saw the crimson blood blade and the golden dragon figure on the sword handle, and he said, "I will name you the blood dragon fang. Yes, this is a perfect name. for you.".

Ye Feng then stored the blood dragon fang after naming it and returned it to his dantian then he started walking back to his dwelling.
