Lilly is making her way through the jungle although she knew the layout as a kid, things have changed after 10 years. Sure the geophysical landmarks haven't changed but the political side has. It's not really much of a problem if she accidentally wanders into different territories by accident, but the locals might have a problem with it.
You might be wondering what kind of hunt this will be and it's normally hunting for livestocks. You see, werewolves like to eat mutton and they're not really found in the forest. To get to the plains however you need to travel the thick amount of forest. The Darkmoon Kingdom used to have a lot of sheep in their area because the entire kingdom used to be just plains. However as time went on, the amount of sheep left has decreased and decreased and the nearest plains is through this thick forest.
"I need to use my inner wolf to get their scent. If I can't do such a simple task then I will never awaken it." Said by Lilly while running through the forest.
She saw something that wasn't the forest and was relieved as she thought it was a plain but to her disappointment, not only wasn't it a plain but it was also a dangerous area. Lilly stopped herself from running but it was too late as the ground beneath her collapses due to the fact she ended up at the edge of the cliff. It wasn't all bad because she landed on the water but it was embarrassing.
"At least no one saw that." Lilly said to her relief but was quickly saddened again when she heared laughter.
Lilly looked to her right and saw a bunch of mermaids laughing at her. She rolled her eyes and realizes she can't move. She then heard the mermaids laugh louder.
"You're our prisoner now honey, don't try resisting us." Said by one of the mermaids.
She struggles to break free as the mermaids chase her. She knows what mermaids do to people that end up in their territory. They basically get raped and turn into sex slaves by drowning them. If you're lucky they will just put you in a cave and keep you alive but at that point you would rather die. That only happens if they have a cave that is. Unfortunately, there is none.
"This can't be real, I can't die now!" She said that while being incredibly conflicted. She wants to sacrifice her life for her loved once but now she's experiencing the fear of death.
Suddenly, before the laid a single hair at her, the blue flash appears again. Travelling at immense speed which it nearly splitted the water. He touched Lilly's head and then took her away. He carried her onto the nearest land.
"Who are you..?" Lilly asked as she tried to peek underneath his hood but she saw a mask. He didn't have one before but it seems like he has one now. It's a Ghostface mask and he also has more weapons now.
Lilly pondered if it's the same guy but in the end, she knew it was him because of that same familiar feeling. It seemed like he was staring at her chests and Lilly didn't mind if he was a pervert because she was too curious at this point.
The water behind them suddenly formed into a small tsunami. It was the mermaids who were using a technique using the water element. "Run..." Was the word the cloaked man said and Lilly followed. She looked back a bit but she was already too far away and the leaves were covering what was happening. The water was sent back for some reason and he jumped off the cliff afterwards. Lilly stopped moving and was about to go back when a blast of water hits her and sends her way back.
"This couldn't get anymore weirder."
You know people that said that always end up jinxing it but she was actually right. It did not get any weirder for a while that is. She just spent the entire day camping while warming herself up in a campfire. She slept on a pile of leaves and felt a bit uncomfortable. Even though wolves do this a lot, she couldn't get comfortable with her current situation. Lilly thought to herself that she should follow her wolf instincts. She thought what a wolf does to sleep and came into conclusion on one thing. She may have arrived in this conclusion because of a feeling she's been getting recently or she's just not that smart. She thought that she has to be naked.
She removed her clothes and carefully packed them up. As it turns out, she managed to sleep comfortably. As she was sleeping, she can't help but felt like being watched so she covered herself with a pile of leaves instinctively. Still feeling watched, she just continued sleeping because she didn't sense anything going any closer as she was sleeping.
She woke up and the first thing she did is look around.
"Whoever's watching, just so you know I do not care."
No one responded and nothing happened as well. She started stretching and then put her bag on. She's still unclothed despite all of this and continued going for the hunt. As she tirelessly walked through the endless greenery of the forest, the colors of the grass started to change. It turned into a lighter green than the greenery of the forest. She ran in excitement as she's now in the plains. Not too far, she encountered a herd of sheep. However though, something appeared stopping her from walking. It was a Centaur who wields a large weapon.
"Halt, you shall not pass from here on."
Lilly couldn't do anything but rely on her instinct again. She had to get the sheep no matter what but she had to take care of the man in front of her first.
"Take one more step forward and I will not hesitate to attack you. I'm merely protecting all forms of life in this area."
Lilly despite the warning went into a battling stance and then blasted him with a sound wave attack.
"Must you get in my way, shall you suffer the consequences."
Lilly rushed forward as she blew the Centaur away. Spikes of stones came out of the ground but was actually caused by the Centaur so Lilly destroyed them with her sound-wave attacks.
"You wish for death young lady? Then so he it!"
He hurled three gigantic rocks at her at the size of an entire city. As Lilly thought she was about to die, memories of the past came back to her. She remembered most of her childhood again and a single tear fell into her eyes. She thought about seeing Bobby again in the afterlife and raised her hand as she hallucinates about the light taking her. Although, what happened was she blew up the entire city-sized rock by merely touching it. She comes back to her senses again and realizes what happens. It's not a mere coincidence, she can actually blow things up. Instead of awakening the wolf inside her, she instead awakened her magical ability; Burst. She can blow up anything that has magical energy/mana if it makes contact with her own.
Even after that however, the other two were still coming at her way. The blue flash appeared in her vision again during this moment and the next thing she knew is the gigantic rock, collapsed in on itself. It was like a machine who's power was suddenly gone. The cloaked man then fought the Centaur but instead of killing him, he just dragged him away.
Before he left however, he said some words to Lilly. "You might have questions, but all will be revealed soon. Trust your bond..."
Lilly tried identifying the voice but he was using a voice changer. Earlier when he told her to run, she couldn't identity her either but not because of the voice changer. It was because he altered his voice himself. Lilly captured the sheep and carried them all with a gigantic net. Carrying them wasn't too hard for people like her.
Lilly made her way back to the palace much faster because she now knows the way. Her mom greeter her arrival in quite of shock.
"That large haul honey. Also what happened to your pants?"
Lilly forgot she wasn't wearing anything and then covered her genital between her legs.
"I'm sorry, I forgot I took them off.
Lilly wore a short afterwards and then headed her way to the storage unit. She looked above her because she felt someone was watching her while putting the sheep she got inside there but she didn't see anybody.
Meanwhile somewhere in a hidden place between the borders.
"Sir, the Centaur that we sent didn't succeed."
Quentin drank from his wine afterwards. He was looking at his assistant who told him about that news.
"It doesn't matter, my intentions were never to kill the girl. It was only to escalate the situation and raise the stakes."
Quentin drank another glass of wine afterwards and then went into thought.
"How are our agreement with King Ginmaru going?"
He did not sip from his wine this time as he waited for an answer.
"He's on full support sir."
Quentin said nothing else and just drank an entire bottle, completely ignoring the glass. The wine probably had something in it besides wine. Now the question is, what's this whole thing he's planning?
