Gwinam was delving deeper into her new world when whispers of an Old Prophecy reached her ears. Somebody was chosen, according to the prophecy, to bring balance into the universe and vanquish darkness that was ever up against it. This piqued Gwinam's interest and she thought to herself that it would be a good idea to learn more about the prophecy and also about her role in it.
She went seeking ancient books and pieces of legends to seek out wise sages and seers revered in the remote corners of the land. One by one, she learned from each of them the insights concerning the prophecy and what types of trials and tribulations would face the one chosen.
Along Gwinam's journey, there were so many tests and trials that she encountered, along with the maneuverings of shadowy forces that sought to stop the prophecy from being fulfilled. She engaged in bloody political intrigues, confronted vile creatures, and uncovered the secrets of long-lost artifacts.
As she disentangled the threads of the prophecy, Gwinam began to understand that she herself was a linchpin in that very outcome. Her previous life as a historian had endowed her with knowledge regarding the interpretation of cryptic clues and ancient writing. With the help of her intellect and resourcefulness, she began to piece the puzzle together while edging closer to the attainment of her final destiny.
With increased enlightenment, Gwinam's conviction hardened, and she recognized that fulfilling the prophecy would abide not only by her own strength but with aid and cooperation of the ones she has come to call friends. In the end, Gwinam chooses to confront the several armies gathered against her, fulfill the prophecy with her own strength, and declare friendship to be not an option but a real necessity.
