COURTNEY'S POV
"I'm sorry about this," he suddenly said.
I looked back up at him wondering what he was apologizing for when he suddenly lifted his arm with his sword in hand. I felt it go through my chest right in the heart. My pupils dilated and I felt an intense heat burn up in my chest.
Confused I looked up at him and then I looked down at the sword and saw blood spill out of my chest. He then pulled it out and I staggered backward.
My legs gave out and I fell to the ground. Griffith came to me and fell with me, catching me in the process. As I convulsed in his arms, I looked up at him.
"Why?" I wanted to ask him. My eyes began to frantically flutter open and close.
Then, I suddenly felt it. I felt it all come flooding back to me, the memories. It felt like they had been whacked back into my mind. I remembered all of it. As my body slowly began to still and I felt my consciousness begin to slip away I tried to lift my hand up and touch his face.
