The words of the Fable reached the ears of Iron Wing, causing a momentary hesitation in its gaze.
The Fable took a light breath, hope shimmering in its eyes, yet in the next second, the hesitation in Iron Wing's eyes was replaced by cold once again. It was still the killing machine that could easily claim lives.
Iron Wing changed direction, its twin wings rotating within the Iron Chain, untangling a few of the chains wrapped around its body. Then, it resumed accelerating, flying toward the Fable like a sharp arrow.
Death was close at hand.
The Fable looked at Iron Wing, its line of sight unknowingly falling on the blood-colored vortex behind Iron Wing. Suddenly, it felt as if a line was stringing everything together.
"I understand now, I understand…" he said with his mouth, simultaneously activating his skills to dodge Iron Wing's charge, "We'll just stay here and not go anywhere."
Iron Wing slowed down gradually after completing its charge.
