It was the last night in the old emergency department, and they still had to be diligent at their posts. Luckily, the flow of daytime patients was manageable; they just had to take care of a couple of drunken individuals, and that was it.
「The next day」
Liu Banxia took extra care to make himself presentable. It was September 9th, an auspicious day for the new building to officially open. This was going to be their new home.
"I just went to check out the new building, and wow, it's truly incredible! It's going to be so much more convenient for everything in the future," said Liang Xiaolin, returning excitedly after a quick tour.
"You're just seeing it now? I thought you'd snuck over there a few times already," Liu Banxia said.
