The Crown Prince leaned back against the pillow behind him, slightly raising his chin to look at Mr. Zhuang, indicating for him to begin.
Mr. Zhuang paid no mind to his attitude and respectfully said as always, "Your Highness, you must have read the Classic of Filial Piety thoroughly and even memorized it. Confucius said that filial piety is the foundation of all virtuous conduct, the source of moral education, and that people will submit their hearts to a ruler whose virtues are supreme and morality is paramount. Only then will the world be stable, and the hearts of the people follow."
