The next morning, Bai Erlang came to them angrily, "You did it on purpose."
Bai Shan didn't admit it, "What did we do on purpose?"
Manbao straightforwardly said, "Are you stupid? Did you actually go and ask?"
Bai Erlang glared at Bai Shan angrily.
Bai Shan shrugged, not denying it either.
Bai Erlang exclaimed, "You're so mean!"
Bai Shan said, "This is called learning from experience. Don't worry, you won't make such a mistake again."
Manbao nodded with a smile.
The two successfully managed to make Bai Erlang leave in anger and continued to the village to find delicious fruits. Since they had to return home today, they only played in the village for most of the day and set off back to the capital when the afternoon sun wasn't as intense.
This time, Manbao and the others didn't ride horses. They sat in the carriage, opened the windows to feel the breeze, and dozed off along with the swaying of the carriage.
They didn't take a nap today to make the most of their playtime.
