She raised her hand and gently pushed his shoulder.
Harry Hall was half-squatting in front of her at this moment. With her push, he wobbled a bit unsteadily.
Helen Melendy was genuinely worried he might fall, so she quickly reached out to grab him.
Harry Hall let out a few low chuckles in a good mood, turned his hand to hold hers, and said,
"I'm being serious too."
He lifted his gaze, seriously locking eyes with hers, and said,
"I like it when you call me husband, like you did downstairs."
Helen Melendy originally called him "husband" just to annoy Leanne Richards. It rolled off her tongue smoothly without any burden.
But now that things had gotten serious, she felt embarrassed to say it out loud.
