Wa Wei pouted, walked into the sea, not caring as the waves wet her feet.
"You're the one who's crying, I'm not a child anymore." She said somewhat defiantly.
The young man laughed softly, his voice enchanting, causing Wa Wei to lose herself a bit, "Why is your voice so nice?"
The young man's laughter grew louder, "Your smile is beautiful too."
Wa Wei blushed red to her ears, "You're teasing me again."
"I'm serious." The young man said earnestly, with a bit of insistence in his eyes.
Wa Wei turned her face away, softly saying, "I might have to leave for a while."
"Where are you going?" The young man asked hurriedly.
"I'm learning medicine from a goddess who came to the Island, but they are going to Fusang. Initially, I didn't want to go with them, but after just a few days, my learning isn't good..."
Her voice grew softer, nervously looking at the young man, as if afraid he would be angry.
