"These aren't medicine for illness, just... health supplements."
Olivia Parker told a small lie. In fact, these were the emergency contraceptive drugs she bought, two in total. She took one yesterday, and this one should be taken 12 hours later.
But such things can't be truthfully told to a little kid.
"I want to sleep for a while. Is it okay if you play by yourself?"
After a night shift, she needed to rest a bit.
The little guy waved his hand like an adult, "Go ahead, I'll wash the dishes."
The porridge was in a disposable meal box, there wasn't much to wash, just two spoons and chopsticks, very simple.
Olivia Parker smiled and nodded, "I'll leave it to you then."
"You can count on me," the little guy patted his chest.
"If you get bored, you can watch some TV or play on the computer for a while, but... no more than half an hour, or your eyes will get nearsighted, you know?"
"Uh-huh!" the little guy nodded, "Uncle Kasper has said it many times."
