With a gunshot, another airport security guard was killed.
Ivana Bennett pulled the two children to hide behind the billboard and quickly took out her phone to call Lucas Walker, but she couldn't get through.
She put down the phone and quickly glanced at the screen, which showed no signal.
"Give me your phone."
She reached her hand out to the security guard in front of her and spoke in a low voice.
The security guard cautiously handed over his phone to her, but it also had no signal, and the other person's phone was the same.
"Damn it!" Ivana cursed in a low voice, "They must have jammed the phone signals."
She pushed up her watch and looked at the locator device on it.
The locator works directly through satellite transmission, unaffected by signal issues, and showed that Lucas Walker had already reached the vicinity of the airport, no more than three kilometers away.
