Flossie Wright curled her lips slightly, "I'm going to sleep for a bit."
"Alright."
Glenn Hutchinson responded decisively.
Flossie's body was in too much pain. Even though her mind had completely stopped functioning, she still couldn't fall asleep. It was only after Glenn Hutchinson gave her a shot of painkiller, along with a shot of anesthesia, that she was able to sleep peacefully.
The journey was a bit bumpy. They were heading directly to the airport, which was a two-hour drive.
After Glenn Hutchinson had roughly treated Flossie's injuries, he held her, trying his best to control the pressure, allowing her to sleep a bit more comfortably. Yet, his heart was still on edge.
Flossie's injuries were too severe.
High fever and inflammation symptoms even appeared.
Although her internal organs weren't harmed, her body was bruised all over. There was even a lot of broken glass embedded in her calf, making everything worse than expected.
