"Alright, alright, alright," the captain squeezed out a strained smile and went straight to the point, "Tell me what you're best at."

Flossie quickly responded.
"Then let's test marksmanship!" the captain declared decisively.
"I'm easy-going, but..." she smiled and leaned in considerately, "it's the holiday season, it wouldn't look good on your soldiers to lose face."
"Ha," the captain was so irritated he was practically smoking, and cut in firmly, "That's not a problem. My soldiers might not excel at everything, but at the very least, they can afford to lose!"
"Then that settles it."
Flossie nodded, her smile growing even more relaxed.
