Glenn opened the passenger-side door and looked indifferently toward Flossie Wright, saying, "I have some things to do."
"What's that got to do with me?" Flossie asked, perplexed.
"Nothing." Glenn replied lazily.
"..."
Without another word, Flossie frowned and turned to leave.
But, just as she had turned around, Glenn caught her arm.
Flossie gave him a cold glance.
Narrowing his eyes, Glenn's expression softened and he slowly said, "I'll take you to have something tasty."
"..."
Flossie furrowed her brow.
However, in the end, she didn't resist and followed Glenn's wishes, sitting in the passenger seat.
After all, she had nothing else to do.
She had no interest in attending the party the trainees had organized.
Yet, as soon as Flossie got into the Jeep and fastened her seat belt, she began to rest with her eyes closed.
She had no intention of talking to Glenn.
Glenn didn't look her way either.
Quietly, he drove.
It was around four o'clock in the evening.
